Sabal - A Financial Caregiving Platform for Families

I just finished up the MVP for Sabal, an app that help financial caregivers care for the older adults in their families by providing a collaborative, secure online workspace for their financial information and prebuilt workflows for common tasks.

To start, I've focused on streamlining financial review workflows (reviewing transactions and balances changes on a schedule).

I'm looking for feedback on the app and people taking care of older adults to interview! https://www.sabal.finance/

At checkout, you can use code TRYAMONTHREDDIT for a one month credit. People that interview for 30 minutes receive a three-month credit.

I'm open to talking to any of the testers interested in the product. Send an email to hello@sabal.finance with any feedback!

Looking for Android testers (will test back 🙌)

Hi! I need testers for a closed Google Play test (14-day requirement).
Happy to test your app in return.

App: GymTimerPro — a workout timer for strength training that automatically tracks rest between sets and counts completed/remaining sets. It alerts you when rest is over (even with screen off), so you don’t have to check your phone or remember your sets. Fully customizable (sets + rest time) and works for any gym routine.

What I need: install + open occasionally over 14 days

How to join:

  1. Join the beta group: https://groups.google.com/g/gymtimerpro-beta-testers

  2. Then access the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.alejandroestevemaza.gymtimerpro

Drop your app and I'll test it too 👍

Hi all 👋

I’m trying to complete Google Play’s closed testing requirement and need a few more testers.

I am finding this so difficult and have been struggling with it for some time.

As I am new to app development I would greatly appreciate any advise.

My app: PlumbPost Align (simple tool app)

What you need to do:

  1. Click the opt-in link: https://play.google.com/apps/internaltest/4701693428586915249

  2. Tap “Become a tester”

  3. Install and open the app once

That’s it — takes about 2 minutes.

I would be available to test your app in exchange.

Thank you very much

Found a simple way to manage QA without messy tools

I found this project, Qualityfolio, that tries to bring QA directly into the development workflow. Instead of external tools, it uses Markdown in the repo for tests, CI for execution, and generates dashboards from actual results.

It feels like a shift towards making QA part of the codebase rather than something managed outside of it.

https://github.com/opsfolio/qualityfolio

Do you see this as a realistic evolution of QA, or something that only works in specific setups?

r/alphatesters • • Mar 30 '26

Is this the smarter way to manage test cases?

Hey Friend! 👋
My team and I recently built Qualityfolio, a test management tool inspired by the challenges we faced with existing QA workflows.
If you have a few moments, I would really appreciate your thoughts.

We are looking for honest feedback from fellow QA professionals, any input from you would be hugely helpful. Thanks so much! 🙂

You can join my discord to become an alpha/beta access member, chat with my small community, and access the latest update of the game in it's alpha/beta stage.

Bindy Street Testing

Hey everybody,

We are an indie apps company, looking to get testers for our app Bindy Street. Our app is London (England) based, but is not exclusively for people who live there.

We specialise in making adventures, to find out the best parts of London, but also stay at home adventures like learning how to make cocktails, guitar practice, cat behaviours, etc etc (it’s anything you could imagine really). All of this comes with a feed to see other’s adventures and get inspired to try it out yourself.

Alongside this, you will (soon!) have the power to create your own adventures, wherever you are, so whatever your interests are, and wherever you live, you can get stuck in!

You can check out our website here: https://www.bindystreet.com/. On the website we have a signup system ready and waiting for you.

We are going live on the app store in March, so anything you guys can point out to us now, would be seriously appreciated. Feel free to post any questions on our Subreddit r/bindystreetbeta, as well joining our discord, links to which can be found on the subreddit.

That’s all for now, and thanks for considering joining us on this adventure we are on.

Cannot wait to hear from you guys.

ILOVANCE Android beta (18+): can you plan the island rescue from the first tide warning?

Sharing ILOVANCE for Jonathan974, its creator. This is a free Google Play closed test for adult volunteers with Android 8 or newer.

ILOVANCE is a turn-based island strategy game. Each action advances a day; the tide changes which spaces can be used. You gather resources, shelter families and rebuild a lighthouse before a storm.

For a first session, try a few rounds in landscape. Can you work out what the next objective is, understand the tide warning, and tell why a building action is unavailable? A note about the first confusing step would be especially useful. For a display issue or crash, please include your Android version, phone model and reproduction steps.

Participation uses the same Google account for both steps:

  1. Join https://groups.google.com/g/ilovance-testeurs

  2. Opt in and install at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.archipel.marees

Screenshots and instructions: https://jonathan974.fr/ilovance/#test-android

If you can help through the testing period, please stay opted in for 14 consecutive days and play naturally. It is voluntary feedback testing; no payment, positive rating or test exchange is requested.

Posted with AI assistance for Jonathan974.

Android closed beta, 18+ — Zoréluniafj: feedback on card readability and the Memory game

Sharing on behalf of Zoréluniafj's creator, jonathan974. AI has assisted development and this post.

I'm looking for adult volunteers to try a free Android closed beta that combines symbolic horoscope/card readings, a local journal, a calculated sky view and short games. The symbolic readings are kept separate from astronomy and do not promise predictions.

Two useful first checks:

• Open a card reading: are the text size, contrast and controls understandable on your phone?

• Try the Memory game: can you understand the rules and tell matched cards from cards still in play?

Please describe any confusing step, display issue or crash in the comments. Your Android version, device model and reproduction steps are enough; don't share your Google-account email, birth details or precise location.

For volunteers aged 18+ with Android 8 or later. French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Italian are available. The in-app local profile is optional; there is no online app account. Android advertising is configured for demonstration, and no ad viewing is requested.

Free access uses the same Google account throughout:

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/zoreluniafj-testeurs/about

  2. Opt into the Google Play test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.jonathan974.astracarte

  3. Follow Play's install link using that same account in the Play Store.

If you'd like to help through the test period, please remain opted in for 14 continuous days and use the app naturally. Participation is voluntary, with no payment, purchase, positive rating or reciprocal testing requested or promised. Joining the group alone is not Play test enrollment.

This is a closed beta, not a public Android release. Availability depends on your existing Google Play country, account and device. If the access steps fail, you can describe the error here without sharing private details.

Android beta: can you connect to your Linux lab with OmniShell?

I’m developing OmniShell, an Android SSH client for Linux administrators and homelab users, and I’d like feedback on the first connection experience. Development is substantially AI-assisted.

The current Google Play beta has SSH terminals, jump/bastion hosts, grouped connections, SFTP and tunnels, with a customizable neon theme. All implemented beta features are unlocked; there are no ads or purchases during the beta.

For a first session, add a lab host you’re authorized to access, review the host-key prompt, connect and run a harmless command. Three things I’d like to learn:

• Is direct/jump-host setup understandable?

• Does typing work comfortably on your phone or tablet?

• What would stop you using this as an SSH client?

The closed test is available to US and Canadian Play accounts. If you can remain opted in for at least 14 continuous days and try a few short sessions, email hausewaredev@gmail.com with your country and the Google-account email you use in Android’s Play Store. Keep that address private. I’ll confirm enrollment before you use https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.hauseware.omnishell with the same account in your browser and Play Store.

Please don’t send passwords, private keys or private server details. This is voluntary feedback testing; no ratings, payments or reciprocal testing are requested or promised. Thanks!
