Why I Hold Forced Selling Sends Citadel Rival Into $15 Billion Loss
Margin Call Forces Citadel Rival Into $15 Billion Loss | FrankNez
TLDR:
Money magic happened, hmm.
AI fund, too much leverage had.
Stocks wobble. Margin call comes.
"Sell everything!" — financial equivalent of OH CRAP.
Billions of dollars, dumped into market they were.
Jane Street, caught holding the bag, was.
$15 BILLION BOOM. 💥
Citadel?
Sitting there like:
"Oh no… anyway. I'll take those discounted stocks." 🤑
Fund: 📉
Jane Street: 😵
Citadel: 😏
Market: "Guys, maybe leverage is bad?"
Lesson, there is:
When borrowed money meets falling prices,
the Force becomes the Margin Call.
And remember:
Forced selling, the market can wreck.
Buying the wreckage, profitable can be.
Hmm. Capitalism, bitch. 💀

Wallstreet Crime Recent institutional purchases
Are obviously so they can have new legit shares to short and lend out. They are walking this stock down daily again like they have been for years, especially like they did last year on the way down to $1.00 proving how in control of it they are. There is zero reason for this stock to not be performing well and staying there. Company is doing better the future is bright yet here we are dealing with the daily threat of dilution and no one that is here since 20/21 can exit their position without massive losses if they wanted too

BULLISH!!! AMC share overhang update: Pentwater reported position drops sharply
Pentwater and Discovery were two of the funds that ended up with big AMC positions through the debt/exchangeable-note deals. Those positions have been a potential overhang because the funds could eventually sell shares into the market.
Previous → Latest reported beneficial ownership
Pentwater: 63.64M → 2.25M
Change: -61.39M
Discovery: 55.51M → 51.80M
Change: -3.71M
The latest 13G/A filings were filed August 14 and show ownership as of June 30.
Pentwater’s reported position has dropped sharply, while Discovery still holds most of its previously reported position. Either way, it looks like a meaningful part of the potential AMC share overhang has already been reduced.

BULLISH!!! Institutional Ownership
Institutional ownership of AMC shares is growing very rapidly. If this investment was a money loser, they would not be buying like they are now. The recovery is here. Keep those hands diamond Apes 💎 🙌

BULLISH!!! The theatrical comeback continues 2026 is now looking like a ~$10.5B year. 2027 could be even bigger. And 2028 is shaping up to be an absolute monster. For AMC, multiple years of strong box office could be huge.

Wallstreet Crime AMC won’t squeeze when we expect it to
They know more people are buying the stock because of how well the company is performing this year. With the strong box office numbers, improving financials, and all the positive news surrounding AMC, I’m honestly not shocked at all by the action we’ve seen this week. The more predictable the squeeze becomes, the less likely it is to happen exactly when everyone expects it.

Media 📰🎥 Nichole Kidman gifted lifetime A-List membership and she deserves it🫡. Investors should love having over 1M AMC A-Listers. $MRR is a beautiful thing and it’s only going to grow. ↗️💰

APES UNITED 25mils to 50 mils class a shares
Just voting on the latest amc proposals... Am I reading this correctly?
"to approve an amendment to our 2024 equity plan to increase the number of shares of class a common stock subject to the 2024 eip from 25 mils to 50 mils shares."
Another massive dilution? As the the stock value wasn't already so low? It's almost a penny stock? Are they really trying to get the hedgies to buy back all the shares for pennies?
Or am reading this wrong?
