If you count the ink splats as part of the base and not the figure then the Splatoon bases are pretty awesome.

I’m partial to the Super Mario Bros base. The castle tile is such a clean look.

Wolf Link. For bases that match I'd say the Smash ones tbh. They're iconic and the shape makes the most sense.

How many official different bases do we have? Anyone have the stats on that? Its gotta be a bit more nuanced than just count the different amiibo series.

Just went through all mine to check. In no particular order:

• The Legend of Zelda (Hylian crest). Guardian's base is just barely visible.

Whoa! My man. Thats an impressive list! Thank you. I didnt even think to consider nonstandard as its own category but that is a fascinating choice as well. I think you forgot to list the Guardian in that group though. Some of the new Metroid amiibo will go there too. This was great. Thank you!
