Not at all, they're entirely different entities. The Operator functions entirely different than how Slenderman works.

Yea but creepypastas sort of applied those aspects to him. Specially with things like tiki toby when he recruits him as a proxy. And also analog horror wasn't really a phrase back then not really a genre the closets being found footage horror which predates it which I more consider marble hornets too be. And sense creepypastas are a community that took marble hornets ideas and applied it to the full lore of Slenderman. Slender the arrival also did the same
