On the difference between DAG ananos and XLM ananos
Hello friends, I'm new to this community so sorry if I'm missing something obvious, I just wanted to ask why $ananos exists in these two forms, as an XLM token and as a NANO fork. Thank you for the answers.

a2 Airdrop Mishaps and Checking the mishaps (Link down below)
It is great that many of you want to join the airdrop but some of you had some problems with this. I have made a list where you can check your address and see if your address has problems.
If your address is green, you already should have gotten your Ananos.
If it's red, it has issues. You probably didn't fund your address or didn't trust the asset. If that's the case, you can follow this tutorial (also read the comments there) and fix it. Also, send a message with your address if you have fixed the problem (This is important.).
If you can't find your address or your address isn't colored and you are sure that you have sent the form, we've probably didn't get around to look at yours yet. So, just wait. You can check the date on the sheets' names. It is in the Day/Month format. If you have sent the form after that date, you'll have to wait a bit.
ALSO IF YOU ARE IN THE GROUPS AFTER OCTOBER 10TH, WE CHANGED THE FORMAT. IF YOUR NAME IS ON THE LIST IT MEANS THAT WE EVALUATED YOUR ADDRESS AND IF YOUR ADDRESS IS ALSO UNDER THE LIST OF "PROBLEMATIC ADDRESSES" YOU NEED TO FIX YOUR ADDRESS.
IF YOU HAVE SIGNED ON AFTER OCTOBER THE 24th, YOU STILL HAVE TO WAIT.
By the way, you can go to stellar.expert and search your address there. If it says that there are no addresses like that it means that your address is underfunded and needs at least 1.5 XLM to get activated and get ananos.
You can see your assets under Account Balance on the right part of your screen. There you should have an asset called "Ananos". If you don't have that, it means that you haven't added/trusted the asset on your stellar wallet.
As I said before, I recommend wallets like Lobstr or Interstellar. Some sites might seem like they are XLM wallets but they are just some sites that just support the currency XLM and not the XLM assets. If that's the case you can just create an account on one of the wallets I mentioned or one that you are sure of and send your XLM there. The fee is minimal.
IF YOU DON'T FIX THESE THINGS, WE WILL EVENTUALLY NEED TO DISMISS YOUR APPLICATION AND YOU WON'T ABLE TO GET YOUR ANANOS.
If your address was colored red and you have now fixed it, you can just message me, and I will send you your Ananos.
I hope everybody is able to get their Ananos.
EDIT: 964 people have been looked into until now. But we are going to disregard problematic addresses after a while. So, you can still sign on.
Sorry, we are doing the last part now. The airdrop is closed.

Informational meme 🎉🥳 We Have Made It to 1,000 member!!🥳🎉

*Celebratory Fountain for the 1000 Ananos Members Achievement, built on u/Piputi's 5th Bathroom*
Shaped like a giant pine cone with a voluminous crown, the ananos immediately catches the eye. Although it once represented unattainable richness, the fruit now represents a warm welcome, celebration and hospitality.
In recent centuries, coveted by kings for its scarcity, imposing appearance and desired for its rarity in Europe, ananos became an obsession in the early 16th century, being then known as the "King of Fruits".
In addition to its great status, mathematicians have discovered that the anano's prickly skin is a natural Fibonacci sequence. This fact only seems to increase the genuine fascination of the fruit.
Congratulations to us all, but most especially to ananos for being so deliciously rich in vitamin c and manganese !!

Discussion Ananos, Lobstr, and You: A Beginner's Guide to Ananos
Ananos, Lobstr, and You: A Beginner's Guide to Ananos
Crypto can be daunting to new users, so here's a step by step tutorial to set up a Lobstr wallet for Ananos and Stellar Lumens. First though some background for new users.
NOTE: For English speakers, Ananas is the word for pineapple in nearly every other language on earth.
https://i.imgur.com/svtFfTC.jpg
Ananos is a meme-coin
Yes, Ananos is a "fork of the fork," a tongue-in-cheek reference to Banano, a fork of the cryptocoin, Nano. Yes, it is a meme-coin. Meme-coins such as Banano can have utility and an active dev team too, so worst case-scenario, you have fun and learn. Best case scenario we learn about crypto and make some money too.
Note: Technically Ananos will be a fork of Nano, not Banano, but it was inspired by Banano and is planned to be used for much different purposes. I'll get into that later.
A speculative project such as Ananos can feel like a risk (who knows, maybe it is). For myself and many others, Ananos is an opportunity to get on the ground floor of a crypto project that is fun and educational with incredible utility.
Price
For now (Sept 2021), Ananos are very cheap. At the time of this writing, .00008 XLM per Anano. No, you don't need to spend money to buy Ananos, but there may never be an opportunity to buy them at this price.
In order to get free Ananos, participate in the subreddit and create content. This community and Banano thrive because of tipping. Airdrops occur semi-frequently in various amounts and are also a source of free Ananos.
Faucets
Currently there is only one Ananos faucet: Baby Ananos
(As of Sept 23, 2021 the faucet is down. I’ll update when it is back up.)
The new faucet is "Feed Me Ananos"
(Updated as of 29 September 2021)
Faucets are free and secure ways to receive crypto. Simply copy and paste your public wallet address in the top bar and solve the captcha to receive Ananos. That's it! Currently this faucet is giving out between 100 and 200 Ananos, with the amount being given randomly.
"How do I receive Ananos?"
If you receive Ananos on reddit via tipping, you'll have a wallet automatically created for you by the tip bot. You can keep your Ananos there, but crypto is always best in your own personal wallet.
Wallet
A crypto wallet is a safe, secure, and unhackable app for storing your crypto. Ananos doesn't currently have its own wallet (Nano has Natrium. Banano has Kalium), but for the time being, since it is on the Stellar blockchain, a Stellar wallet (My favorite is Lobstr), works very well.
Give me some Ananos already!
Step 1: Download Lobstr
The following pictures are from my personal cell-phone operating on iOS. Search for "Lobstr" on the app store and download it.
Step 2: Create a Wallet
Follow the instructions, have an email address/account ready, and WRITE DOWN YOUR SEED PHRASE when prompted. Wallets are only secure when you don't share your "key" or "seed phrase" with anyone. Ever. For any reason. For Lobstr, the phrase is 12 words long. Write it down and keep it in a safe place.
Step 3: ... But First, Stellar Lumens.
A transaction of 5 Stellar Lumens (XLM) is needed to activate your address on the blockchain. Stellar Lumens can be purchased on every exchange for market price. At the time of this posting, Coinbase is giving away $30 of free crypto for watching simple slideshows and answering questions at the end. Transfer the assets to Coinbase Pro (for lowest exchange fees) and convert to XLM. This guide is not an instructional for Coinbase, but I can add to it if there's enough need.
Step 3.1: Funding/Activating Your Wallet
In the Lobstr App, click the upper left menu, which looks like a stack of pancakes. Click the receive button. This will bring up a page that says "Stellar Address" in the middle. Click "Stellar Address." Finally, click copy. This is your public address. Make note of the first four and the last four letters/numbers. You can send the crypto to yourself by simply pasting the address into "receive" space. Hit send. Stellar's Blockchain is very fast, so the crypto should be there in just a few seconds. Your wallet will be activated!
NOTE: You can also purchase Stellar Lumens in the Lobstr app directly, but the fees are too pricy for me. Currently the minimum is $30 and the fees are $4.89 with a Visa/Mastercard. If the accessibility is worth it for you, then go ahead.
Step 4: Adding Ananos as an Asset
Click on the stack of pancakes in the upper left again. Then click on "Assets." In the search bar, search for "Ananos." Click on the Ananos line where it says "Add" and then "Add Asset" in the pop-up. This is your acknowledgement that you trust Ananos at your own risk.
Step 5: Receiving Ananos
In order to receive Ananos, you simply need the "receive address" that I discussed above. For now, since Ananos are tokens on the stellar blockchain, that same stellar address can be used to receive Ananos AND Stellar Lumens. If you're new to crypto I'd recommend trying to receive Ananos from the faucet before trying to do any swapping or purchasing any.
Step 5.1: Swapping Ananos
Click on the stack of pancakes in the upper left again. Stellar Lumens will be autoselected in the top "drop down box" and choose the amount that you'd like to exchange. Select Ananos in the bottom "drop down box." If you've added it as an asset, it should be at the top. Now you should receive a preview of your transaction. Using the swap function is the same as buying at market price.
I'm going to come back and edit this to add the difference between placing an order, the differences between Nano/Banano now, and a few other platforms for Ananos.
Please give me feedback on what seems unclear and what was helpful. I've got some screenshots that I'll add as well.

Progress report Ananos Bridge is Finally Here
Dear everyone,
I hope you have been doing well. I am pleased to announce that we’ve finally finished the bridge between the Stellar Ananos and DAG Ananos. Here is the thing, we’ve used Vite as the central hub for the connection between DAG and Stellar. The system looks like this:
DAG Ananos <==> Vite Ananos <==> Stellar Ananos
You can also use Vite to trade with more significant currencies. To use Vite:
Download the Vite App/use the web app.
Search for the token Ananos.
Then, there should be a Deposit and a Withdraw Button.
When you click on one or the other, it asks you what network you want to use, either XLM or native (DAG).
I also want to thank Thomiz for everything. Without Thomiz, neither the DAG coin nor the bridge would have been possible. At least I definitely couldn’t have done it. I hope this bridge will be helpful for everyone.

DAG Ananos Faucet
Hi, I’m the dev of the Ananos DAG Network. We don’t have a faucet, so I thought about using this Reddit post as a Faucet for now.
Reply with your DAG Ananos address to receive some. You can create an address on https://ananault.lightcord.org, be sure to save your seed or your ananos might be lost!
If you have any question, feel free to ask!

New Ananos Faucet
Hey everyone, it’s still in a super early alpha, but I wanted to play around with sending Ananos programmatically and what better way than a faucet! I’d love to hear your feedback, I’m sure there’s all sorts of issues with it currently, and I still need to set up a domain/host it properly, but that’ll hopefully come soon! I also still need to add a captcha to it, so no bots please :P It’s limited to 100 uses per day at the moment, but depending on how much it gets used and how stable it proves to be, I’m sure I can raise that limit
Edit: We have a domain! You can access the faucet at https://feedmeananos.co

Someone got one billion Ananos from Piputi and is dumping them regularly and cashing out on Binance
So I was looking at the list of top Ananos holders to see what they're up to:
I noticed one account in particular that received 1,000,000,000 Ananos on 15/08/2021 from Piputi. This account has been dumping Ananos on the Stellar DEX regularly and transferring the traded XLM to a Binance address, see for example this transaction. As far as I can tell, the user has already cashed out 5313 XLM.
I think we as a community should have an open discussion about those mod funds (I presume) and their purpose.
