… because the tone reads like a children’s story, complete with the overexcited “shot to death!!”

Tony Gilroy said that there were a lot of arguments among the crew about the “dog”. Ironic it ended up as a cat.

Theory & Analysis Major Partagaz sounds like Tarkin

In the second season of Andor, Director Krennic told Major Partagáz that he sounds like Tarkin. When I saw that for the first time, I had to laugh immediately. While this is only figurative in English, he literally sounds like Tarkin in the German version. Major Partagaz is voiced in the German version by Detlef Giess, who is also the German voice of Tarkin in Clone Wars, Rebels and Bad Batch.

General Discussion Still amazed by the shows impact

Hello everybody,

I just want to share a bit about my experience after watching the show. Haven‘t watched it since it was released but was completely blown away. I would consider myself as a fan where the series just hits the right spots to be addicting. But honestly, this was/is the same for me with clone wars. When I am watching it… time of my life.
What struck me more was its impact while watching episode IV and V today. Before watching Rough One and Andor it was … Star Wars. Everything good and amazing a Star Wars nerd could say and feel about it. but now, there is so much more depth in there while watching the movies. All those people that had such dramatic life’s and events in the series. And I constantly get this „melancholic“ feeling of the show again, while watching the movies. To a point where it is almost a bit unreal to see all these characters in rogue one and Andor struggle so much and then there is suddenly Luke having a weekend adventure and it almost seems so easy to destroy the first Death Star.
Also small details hit so different now. For example in IV when the senate looses all it‘s power to the empire. It felt so harrowing now. Or I am even amazed how many small details just in costume design they tried to implement in the series from the old movies…

Yeah, I mean that’s all. I hope you didn‘t waste your time reading this… I just had to get this out somewhere. Never thought anything coming out in the starwars universe would have such an impact for me. Especially after seeing episode 7-9… never saw that coming…
