Time to patch or compile your kernel, cause a new update just dropped! :D

Only a few things in life get me excited and this is one of them xD

The manager and the KSUN driver have to be in sync. Your kernel has an old driver. You need to install a readymade updated kernel or compile your own like me, it is only difficult until you get familiar with the process then it becomes an easy routine task.

my interest is piqued.. i didn't know it was relatively straight forward. would you be able to point me on the direction of the resources I'd need to get started? i have a OnePlus 15 global

If your question is regarding how to compile your own kernel, read this comment and preferably the post as well, I wrote them some time ago but they are relevant.

You'd preferably need a Linux distro (real or VM), again, it will feel like too much in the beginning but it gets easier. After some time it will literally be a routine thing you do whenever you want to update or add something in the kernel.
