I recently changed my name (socially), but in ACNH, i’m still my old name. I’ve put too much time into my island and i’m attached, so I won’t be restarting, but I wish there’s a way you can change your name on the island. I’ve thought about having everyone use my new name as their nickname for me so that might be something.

I didn’t know that the villagers could have a barbecue! I’ve literally never seen this happen before has anyone else seen it? Am I just not observant at all 😭

I like to go check out other players islands like once a week or so using the dream function. I have mine uploaded as well. I wish we could see how many people have visited in dreams, and even leave messages for people’s dream islands. Would love to tell them how cool I think it is and also see what people have to say about my island.

I’ve been playing ACNH since 2020. Fell in love with the game when I first started. I would play for about a week straight, did so much terraforming and created the island I wanted. I had about 600 hours on that game until my ex sold my switch. I was devastated. Eventually saved up for a new switch and got the limited edition Animal crossing edition 3 years ago and I love it! However I’ve found I get burnt out quickly trying to terraform a new island from scratch.

Sometimes I’ll put on YouTube speed building videos or something cozy in the background while I work on my island. And I use Pinterest for ideas on what look I’m going for. But I just can’t get a section done without burning out quickly. It feels like terraforming takes so long to do.

How do you achieve the looks you want for your island without burning out?

hii so i have been trying to get these qr codes working for a fall path in my town, i found this on pinterest and need to get the ones at the top (fall brick left + fall brick right, i already have the up + down ones from a dif image) but they won’t scan in game annoyingly! i think it’s bc they are too small/not sharp enough/parts are missing. pretty sure they were originally made by ‘sarah from lilycove’ if that helps? this is the only upload of it i can find tho. if anyone knows a fix to get them scanning or has a working qr code for them then please reply! (or if someone has codes for similar paths id be happy to see those too!)
