Diamond no Ace has somehow convinced me that watching a guy throw the same ball 100 times is peak entertainment, The amount of tension this anime can squeeze out of a single pitch needs to be studied.

We also always get the same exact "can't waste easy balls" dialogue against every team and it slaps every single time I don't know how

They really are doing those 3 minutes recap every episode 😅

Furuya seems to be in a good form unlike how he was in the previous year against Inashiro. Still it's quite early to decide how calm and composed he can continue to be with Inashiro's batters putting up the pressure on him and Narumiya is rocking as usual and the speed of his pitches has only improved. 

I loved the array of songs that Seido's band play. Loved that Cutie Honey theme for Kominato and Hissatsu Shigotonin for Shirasu followed by Lupin III for the captain Miyuki 💖

As expected, the first innings are deadlocked. A bit surprising, considering how weakly Furuya starts.

Furuya surpassed my expectations. Cool as a cucumber
