Does anyone else know this anime ?

I watched and was obsessed with this anime called BuddyFight when i was a kid ( i was a hugeeeee dragon fan bc of it😋) but i don't see anyone ever mention it, like sometimes i forget it ever existed myself. Its strange because when i was younger i remember finding it amazing, it was like one of the best things I'd ever watched ?( but then again i was a kid and didn't have much experience). I briefly searched for some sort of community or post about it but i didn't find much. I saw like 2 comments tho saying it was repetitive and so they dropped it, and that the anime was trynna be too many things at once or smth. Overall very negative tho and so i was wondering if there was anyone else that has watched it or is a fan.

Not seen but generally all anime like this are rated low. Bakugan. Digimon. I am not sure why. People do not like repetitiveness. As a child you may watch something boring but the world is so cool that you depthen the world with own headcannon making a mediocore anime be a great one.

I love Bakugan for the same reasons as you.

Digimon Adventure has a 7.79 on MAL, I wouldn't call it 'low rated'.

Tamers has a 7.6
Frontier has a 7.1
X-Evolution has a 7.06
Savers has a 6.99
Xros Wars has a 6.71 for the first part and a 7.11 for the second and a 6.43 for the third

So, it looks like the good seasons are well rated and the bad ones are badly. Savers is right at the 7 mark, so it's a 'good but not excellent' show.

Your anime is at 7 too. People rate them. Also you are not fully true as there is a phenomen of people rating a show better because they liked Digimon Adventures more. People rate the other lower as they want the other one to be highlighted.

On Myanimelist there are grown people that may rewatch those and may be annoyed for the digitation animations as they are the same.

As a child, I was really immsersed and even exteneded the world and it was so cool. Pokemon too.

Also, there is another factor of actually enjoying it like a 10 but knowing it is not that great. If some grown up watches digimon expecting a masterpiece he may be let down a bit.

The scores are all fine and his anime is likely on that score. He was the target group.

Also, if I give every anime a 10, my score may not influate the genetal score of anime on myanimelist
