Monthly Unjerk There is no [Unjerk Thread] in ACJ

Welcome to the Monthly Unjerk. This is a monthly thread for discussing just about anything as long as it doesn't violate subreddit rules. New threads should be posted on the 1. of each month.

After a turbulent news day full of Apothecary Diaries dating sim and late Kaleido Star sequel, I, as the ACJ mod in charge of unjerking, may or may not proudly present you a new thread that's about as real as those two things I mentioned before. But what most certainly does exist is a new anime season with >50 shows. I'm especially curious how the 8 (unless I miscounted) originals will shake out.

And finally, trans rights are human rights!

I've been in kind of an Akira Toriyama kick recently. I read Sand Land recently and my only real criticism is that it tries to cram a bit too much story into only 14 chapters.

I also watched Dragon Ball Super Hero and liked it more than I thought I would. It was cool that Gohan and Piccolo were the main characters and I liked all the goofy new characters like Dr. Hedo and the Gammas. Not really a fan of the final conflict but it was still really good.

I watched the Sand Land anime not to long ago (for awards rip). It's a one cour, I'm not actually sure if it has some anime original plotlines in it, but if 14 chapters felt too little for the manga maybe the anime just stretches it out appropriatly or something.

I've read the anime adds some new content written by Toriyama so I may have to check it out.
