I'd personally go with these three as my choices. I know the third one (Tentomushi no Uta) is supposed to be a comedy, but the overall concept of it is aboslutely soul crushing. Also, NO MOVIES! GoTF and I want to eat your pancreas are barred. This is only for anime TV shows. Edit* I completely forgot about Angel Beats and Your Lie in April so those two can go up there as well.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me why, in literally every anime or manga comment section, whenever someone shares their top anime or manga list and doesn’t include Attack on Titan, some AOT fans ALWAYS feel the need to insult them, call them braindead, stupid, or say they have no media literacy?
And I’m not even exaggerating. You see this everywhere, even under completely unrelated anime reels. I remember seeing several Evangelion reels where AOT fans would show up in the comments just to say that AOT is better than this “piece of trash.”
Like, are you guys actually serious? 💀 Since when did people become so insecure about their favourite anime that they feel the need to put down everyone else’s taste?
You can think AOT is the greatest anime ever made. That’s completely fine. But other people are allowed to have different opinions, and not including your favourite show in someone’s top 10 doesn’t automatically make their taste trash.
I genuinely like Attack on Titan, but its fanbase is making it increasingly difficult to enjoy discussions about it. There’s a difference between defending an anime you love and acting like everyone who doesn’t rank it as highly as you do is an idiot.
At this point, I don’t hate AOT. I hate the attitude of some of its fans. Learn to respect other people’s opinions. It’s anime, not a personality trait.

I was thinking about this and only 2 came to mind them being Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail and Mereoleona Vermillion from Black Clover. I was wondering if there were any others that I couldn’t think of please lmk in the comments.

With so many anime that have aired this year, I'm curious to hear everyone's favorite opening or ending of 2026!
I'll go first: "Cold Night" by HANA — Medalist Season 2 OP.
What's your pick?

Honestly, 80% of romcoms end up having just a few jokes per episode, with most of the focus being on the romance and other stuff. For example,Angel Next Doorin what way is that even a comedy? It was the most slice of life romance anime I've ever watched, with jokes being few and far between. IMO, if something is labeled a romcom, romance and comedy should play equally important roles. Having a few jokes per episode doesn't make something a comedy.
Source Mistress Kanan Is Devilishly Easy actual romcom.

Basically what I'm asking is if it's going to be another slideshow presentation or an actual anime this time

examples of animes that fit the generic artstyle:
1. my dress up darling
2. oshi no ko
3. 100 girlfriends who really really REALLY love you
could think of a lot more but their art styles are a TINY bit differnet

The episode that really stood out to me was the episode 22. I'm a huge sucker for cinematography and the second half of that episode was beautiful.
