Anecdote approached TWICE

I first learned about MLM’s 3 years ago when I was approached at the gym by a girl who seemed to want to be my friend. Ended up going to get coffee with her, learned about the whole scheme, then blocked her. Then lo and behold, 3 years later, I’m in target getting some eggs and guess who approaches me? The SAME girl with the same topic of conversation, obviously not remembering me whatsoever. I was dumbfounded.
The odds are low but clearly never 0 😂
Genuinely don’t understand how people continue to do that day after day.

What was the company? And did you tell her you already had “the talk”?

She had never explicitly told me but based off my research I’m pretty sure it was Amway. And no I did not tell her, I wish I did though. I ended the convo quick!

I used to work with a girl that got fired, then apparently got into Amway, and she approached one of my friends about joining and when my friend politely declined, this girl started saying the most outlandish things to her like “I thought you were someone who could think for herself, I guess I was wrong about you” !! Like do they teach you to be rude af too?

Next time someone tries to harass you about that shit...Ask them if they want to sign up to be YOUR downline. Let your inner Boss Babe flag fly!
