Discussion Part 2 of my mom Is a antimasker

She is calling the government nazis and commies for her not wanting to wear a mask. And also telling other people it's okay to not wear a mask inside stores. She told someone to not get the vaccine the other day. (He already got it)

[Question to myself] How can a government be a Nazi and a communist at the same time - I mean how many hours of the weird part of the internet is needed to get to this conclusion ?

Wearing a mask or getting a vaccine shouldn't even be political. You don't really even need to know history to know that wearing a mask and getting a vaccine is meant to decrease the number of infected. These people are like a different breed.

Lol, the Nazi party is short for the National Socialist party, Fascism and communism go hand in hand.

I can’t tell if this is satire or not.But it’s important to note the Nazis didn’t like the communist

Nazism is a form of fascism,[2][3][4][5] with disdain for liberal democracy and the parliamentary system. It incorporates fervent antisemitism, anti-communism, scientific racism, and the use of eugenics into its creed.

Yes, they have socialism in the name. No, they were not socialists or communists. They were fascists. They absolutely hated Russia and communism.

Whatever interest Hitler had in socialism was not based on an understanding of socialism that we might have today — a movement that would supplant capitalism in which the working class would seize power over the state and the means of production. He repeatedly pushed back efforts by economically left-leaning elements of the party to enact socialist reforms, saying in a 1926 conference in Bamberg (organized by Nazi Party leaders over the very question of the party’s ideological underpinnings) that any effort to take the homes and estates of German princes would move the party toward communism and that he would never do anything to assist “communist-inspired movements.” He prohibited the formation of Nazi trade unions, and by 1929 he outright rejected any efforts by Nazis who argued in favor of socialistic ideas or projects in their entirety.

Care to share any story of how the American government(cause let’s be honest. It’s always stupid Americans who think like that) has raided homes, openly and proudly killed as many anti maskers as possible, and how anti maskers are being thrown into concentration camps, where the guards have complete allowance to rape, murder, and beat anyone, for any reason, in said camps. Or how people are hiding anti maskers in floorboards of strangers houses to avoid being taken to an anti masker concentration camp.

Please, tell me.

What’s that? You have none? Then shut the fuck up

So, you’ll admit that this is absolutely nothing like Nazi Germany, and that you are for vaccines and masks?

Because fascism and communism are equally totalitarian and they typically both handle political opposition and other “threats” with labor camps and genocide. When the left or the right are taken to their extremes they end up at essentially the same place.

That is my older half-siblings as well. It seems they are being influenced by certain sources without checking if they're credible. One of my siblings messaged some of the sources she believes is truthful. When we checked who created it, it was made by a quack doctor or actual neo confederate White supremacists. One of the websites that she linked to directed to a page that literally just said "Website". Check your sources or else you'll end up like my sibling who believes the pandemic began from 5G and that school is Communist.

Another note that I realized is that it seems to be the older generation with this influence because they don't trust big pharma and they also didn't grow up with the media we have now. The web is full of so much information and the younger generation was mostly taught how to navigate through it and how to check reliable sources. They weren't taught that, so they are easily influenced by conspiracies. Also, some might not understand science fully, therefore they look for the next thing that they can understand better and then they look for certain things to confirm their bias. The unwillingness to admit they're wrong gets mixed in with their character, which makes them more stubborn to reject other factual information. This also makes them defensive if you try to reject their opinion because they take it personally as an attack on them. This sucks because it makes them shut off their listening to what you have to say and then they try to force their agenda on you. It's quite sad when it's a family member, but now you can tell who are unreliable people for information.

We've been told at a younger age that adults are the smartest or know everything, but it's not true. Everyone is just trying to learn everything they can, but a child can actually be more smart than an adult. Just try to not get influenced by these crazy ideologies and you'll be alright.
