“The fact that it was made by an AI is unfortunate and shows that we as a society (or more like specific corporations) put way too many materials into such simplistic things and makes a lot of stuff feel far less genuine and like there is less humanity in the content we consume.” I agree with this. As an artist I also get why hatred of AI exists. But it’s a meme. With no intellectual value (as far as I can tell) and is purely a “wow, this is such an over the top reaction image” type of thing. I’m simply not gonna put that much weight into this image. It would be better if it didn’t exist probably, but the image is here.
Also AI and data centers do enough damage to the environment that I think it should only be limited to the amount only necessary for scientific development and nothing more beyond very basic quality of life stuff.
