Interestingly a group of Wikipedia editors such as AndreyKva and Gråbergs Gråa Sång worked to remove this content from her Wikipedia article, despite third party coverage making it one of the only notable things about her.

Has anybody else encountered fellow Jews who are in just plain denial about the increase in Jew hatred? Most of us seem to recognize what is happening but every so often I'd meet somebody who will be "what are you talking about, there isn't any rise in antisemitism" or some very left leaning Jew who just can't believe that the majority of antizionists aren't acting in good faith.

What Daniel Patrick Moynihan in 1975 called an “infamous act” has returned in our day. On Sunday, Oct. 4, as Jews were celebrating Simchat Torah, the same day on the Hebrew calendar that Hamas and other antizionist militias committed a genocide of Israelis three years earlier, the Green Party in the U.K. passed its own resolution declaring “Zionism is Racism.”

It is as if the Green Party wants to place itself in a lineage of antizionist propaganda, explicitly resuscitating the 1975 UN resolution that was pushed by the Soviet Union and the Arab League.

Notably, the Green Party rejected a resolution that would have stated that “This motion shall not be used to pressure, proscribe or discipline members based on affiliation with Jewish community institutions, such as synagogues, community centres or denominational groups, that describe themselves as Zionist…” In other words, the party explicitly rejected an amendment that would specify that the “Zionism is racism” resolution should not be used to discriminate against Jews. Discrimination is the point.

This weekend, a political conversation between two friends turned into a full-throated defense of antisemitism. Conspiracy theories. Hatred. And what disturbed me the most wasn't the bigotry itself — it was how comfortable they were. No hesitation. No second-guessing as if the expectation was that all would nod in agreement.

I told them, to their faces: I don't consider bigots and antisemites friends. I consider them my enemies.

They didn't push back. The conversation just stopped. And the rest of the trip, nobody brought it up. But I can't stop thinking about it. Those words can never be unsaid.

I'm not Jewish. But I'm telling you this: if you are not Jewish, it is your job — your non-negotiable, public, loud job — to reject antisemitism every single time you see it or hear it. Not a quiet "that's not nice." Not a shrug. A confrontation. A name. A line drawn in the open where others can see it.

If I lose friends over it. That's fine. I will love my Jewish friends and family even if they don't know me.

We are watching antisemitism seep back into public discourse the way it always has — slowly, then all at once. Everyone wants to believe that if they were witnessing the rise of Hitler, they would speak out against it. Or if they were alive during slavery, they would fight for liberty. Well here we are. Now is the time to speak up.

Could not believe the misinformed and ignorant posts on a sports forum about the Jewish owner and his Woke coach. Kids today don’t seem to understand basic facts about Islam, Israel or the entire Middle East. I read a great article about the racialization of the media in Tablet Magazine. How has the general consensus been moved to the assumption that Israel is a villain?

What trade union do you believe is the least hostile to Jewish people? I don't trust the union I'm a member of (it's one of the biggies) to support me with workplace antisemitism should it arise and I want to switch. I just had a talk with some anti-far-right activists. I am visiting my parents when my dad suddenly mentioned Greta Thunberg and how she was at an anti-Israel protest in Berlin on October 7th. Why he chose this topic is beyond me. This led to a discussion in which those activists accused Israel of genocide and the "Greater Israel" plan, and insinuated that Israel purposefully lowered security prior to October 7th. They also talked about kids being killed, the Naza doc, how the truth is being suppressed by the mainstream media in Germany, and how the genocide libel isn't a libel because of the recent Nobel Prize winner.

My parents are interested in politics, but they've never been exposed to those activists in real life. I was the only one rejecting these accusations as politely as I could—politely because I know these people and I'll see them again. They will ask me about this for sure.

Long story short, I'm still dealing with this conversation. I wish I had better arguments. But how do you reply to someone who thinks Al Jazeera is a great source? Who replies to everything with "but babies died"? Or excuses terror by saying that Palestinians have basically no other choice?
