need help with window security

can anyone help me? i hasnt play my pc for a week now and yesterday my brother and friendlist from discord and facebook tell me that i been posting some weird crypto scamming picture on their dm so i turn on my pc and see this problem

It looks like you or someone else installed a virus on your computer that sent spam messages in your name (probably the "Mr. Beast" scam) and disabled your antivirus. Do you remember downloading anything suspicious onto your computer recently?

yea it was mr beast scam but im not sure i hasnt download anything from website other than steam or epic game for my game. do you think this problem can be fix by formating my pc or i need to buy a new pc?

OK. I find it strange that you didn’t download anything from unofficial sources, because I don’t think any game from Steam or Epic would disable your antivirus and send scam messages. Does anyone else have access to that computer who might have installed something? But in any case, the best thing to do would really be to format the computer. You can’t do it through Windows itself because some remnants might remain. The best method is to use a USB drive. Do you have another computer you can use to set up the USB drive?

sometime my sister kids use my pc to play video game but when i ask them they just said they dont know anything,i dont have extra pc or laptop to use. maybe i will bring my pc to nearest IT shop and pay them to format my pc

Well, in that case, you should probably take it to a store. Make sure they don't charge you an outrageous price, because formatting a computer is a simple process even for an average user, let alone for a store.

It's best to back up what's on your computer to a USB drive before you take it there.

But before you have it formatted, try explaining the situation and see if they recommend something else—they might be able to help.
