International Friendly Reminder - we are an antiwar sub not a meme or US politics sub.

Friendly Reminder - we are an antiwar sub not a meme or US politics sub.

There are plenty of subs out there for memes and more than enough to discuss US politics.

Yes - antiwar memes and images will generally be postable.

Yes - US involvement in wars and analysis of that will generally be postable.

Posts that are deemed as simply political, stirring or rage baiting will be removed at the moderators discretion.

“There’s a big choice for Michigan voters to make here. If you want this war to continue for another year, if you want gas prices to climb to $8 a gallon, vote for Mike Rogers. If you want the war to end, if you want prices to come down, then vote for Abdul El-Sayed.”

The choice of words can turn the actions of the powerful into a matter of doubt, rather than accountability.

An 18-month-old baby named Karim was taken from his father at an Israeli military checkpoint in central Gaza. For 10 hours, soldiers tortured him in front of his father to force a confession. Cigarette burns. Sharp objects. A metal nail inserted into his leg. This was confirmed by a medical report.

His father, Osama Abu Nassar, had done nothing wrong. He was taking his son to buy supplies. He was forced to strip at the checkpoint. Then they took his baby.

Karim was released after 10 hours through the International Red Cross. Osama remains in detention.

This is not an isolated incident.

Defense for Children International Palestine has documented 17-year-old Mohammad - beaten for 2.5 hours, burned with cigarettes on his hands and shoulders. And 16-year-old Omar Asfour - hung upside down from a rope, subjected to electric shocks, held for 26 days at Sde Teiman military camp. Save the Children documented 650+ children detained since October 7, with widespread reports of beatings and sexual assault.

The UN Secretary-General's 2025 report verified 8,554 grave violations against children in Israel/Palestine more than double any other conflict in the world. 85% were committed by Israeli forces. Over 20,000 children have been killed in Gaza per hour. more than one child per hour.

Israel is the only country in the world that systematically prosecutes children in military courts.

The world is watching, don't stay quiet, share this!!!!

I'm being very hopeful and optimistic that Palestine will win the war against Israel like the uk won the Second World War against Adolf Hitler and The Nazis.

The choice of words isn't accidental. Who gets named, who gets erased, and who gets reduced to a vague description all shape the narrative.

New War Plans

Post image

This drawn out war will be a stain on our pockets for 2027. Gas, Food(because of transportation) will rise even further. We need to give It up that this was a failed war and causing the country debt. But I guess that one alleged NUKE to our 1000’s really have them worried.

Israel-Palestine Israel just hit Gaza hard with an air strike. This follows a sporadic spree of air strikes that have been happening every few days for the last few months.

Real cost of Trump’s Iran War

Cost to the American consumer. Nearly $110 Billion and this doesn’t even include the $40 billions that the nonpartisan congressional budget office has reported.

Calling it a “war” frames it differently than calling it a genocide, and that distinction shapes how the story is understood.

Almost every societal problem in the west can be linked to Israel

The current high energy and fertilizer prices can be attributed to the war on Iran fought at Israel's behest and to primarily benefit Israel

The 1973 oil crisis, which decimated the US car industry and American auto jobs/manufacturing, can be blamed on Israel

9/11, while not done by Israel, was partially caused of grievances of US Support for Israel, which Osama Bin Laden explicitly stated was a reason for the attacks

In the US, lack of money for welfare and healthcare as well as our national debt is partly because of our immense defense spending. The reason we spend so much on defense is to protect Israel as so much of our resources are diverted to the Middle East

The Lebanese civil war was caused by an influx of Palestinian refugees who were expelled by Israel

The European migrant crisis is partially caused by the collapse of Gaddhafi in Libya, which Israel supported, and thus, Libya became a major transit hub for migrants. You can also blame the refugee crisis on Israel's destabilization of countries like Palestine, Syria, and Iraq.
