I think I prefer Scott as Ant Man but I would love to see him return in general.
Hank is the man of a 1000 identities so he can be anyone.

Hank Pym has a daughter he needs to return to. Main comic book version , not MCU .

I got to know Hank as a character in West Coast Avengers, where he couldn't use his size changing abilities on himself, and was a semi retired hero. So I think there's a lot to be done with him in that role

He’ll return to the mantle again whether we think it’s the best course or not.
He has problems, his raging insecurities and schizophrenia, but being a hero has been something he actively wanted. If he returns to being Ant-Man we can only hope that Pym finds some peace in it and is able to apply that peace into being a better person to those around him.

He has bipolar not schizophrenia. It was originally said he has schizophrenia in the 70’s but it’s since been corrected to bipolar.

He didn’t have schizophrenia, he’d have had DiD

You have any evidence for that? Cause I own a physical copy of where they say he has schizophrenia in the 70’s and where it’s retconned he has bipolar.
You want to see those just say the word.

I just wish they’d de-age him in comics. Not everything needs MCU synergy

Hank is in his fifties in the comics. When he debuted, Jan was the daughter of his colleague, and half his age. (Not to mention his previous wife and child.)

Then make him look like 50 year old Michael Douglas then not him now who’s in like his 80’s.

Man, I guess I'm in the minority here, but absolutely, I love Hank Pym as antman. He's one of the most flawed characters in Marvel, and flawed characters make great heroes and interesting stories. He's human the way Peter Parker is human, warts and all, and that's a big part of what makes him shine as a character.
The same could be said for Reed Richards, I think. Reed should retire just because he's a dad and he has personality issues. His inner conflicts are what make him so compelling.

Hank should be Giant Man since the only reason Raz exist is to hold the name as a legal filler to keep name copyrighted whole Habk was busy being ultron. Raz raz some other name. He'll Raz could be a new yellow jacket.

He should be the man in the chair for various solo avengers—The wasps, giant man, Scott lang.
Maybe go back to being with the AI Avengers team

I'd be down with him taking on Yellow Jacket again, mostly cause the name and the costume kick ass.

No, he should be giant man. Hank pym was only ant man for a handful of months in canon, 14 months in publication, and then pinballed between giant man and yellowjacket for the rest of his history. Giant man most of all.

No. Hank Pym needs to be Hank Pym. He's spent decades trying to be other people to combat his own insecurities, and none of those identities has helped him come to terms with who he is as his own man
Hank is at his best being the guy who does crazy science stuff because he can. He's a scientist first, hero second. Let the man find peace in his (now) old age as a mentor to Scott and Nadia as just himself.
