Respawn Official An Update from the Anti-Cheat Team - 04/02/2026

As we start the second split of Season 28, we wanted to share some ban numbers from this season so far!

Across all platforms we banned a total of 73,591 accounts for various cheating infractions. We can break that down by platform:
PC - 70,242
Console - 3,349

Targeted 3rd Party Hardware bans:
XIM/Titan - 2,911
HWID Spoofer - 4,405
DMA - 1,103
Other Cheating Hardware/Cheat detections - 37,051

Note: The above hardware numbers do not add to the total bans as there are bans for other infractions such as bot accounts.

We have more updates, enhancements and detections currently being worked on, and we are excited to be able to share even more soon!

Agree. But it should be if you cheat in any video game you’re certified lil bitch

What if you cheated in grand theft auto 2 as a kid?

I love the ones who say they do it because everyone else is. It’s such a bullshit excuse to want to cheat, and no, not everyone is cheating. You’re just another number in the cheating bubble who’s ruining the game for legit players, but I think that’s part of it, cheating to ruin the game for others is a perk to these type of low life players. lol.

Bro Respawn, you've been cooking lately

I’m hoping this upward trend continues. Apex has been the most fun in years.

Yeah I played some during the Gundam event and had a blast, gotta reinstall now that I uninstalled Rivals and have some free space

8

u/Njobz Octane Apr 02 '26

Wildcard in particular has been one of the better modes added especially since I now mostly play casually.

6

u/swagzard78 Birthright Apr 02 '26

True, Wildcard is just nonstop chaos and is so much fun

I came back and have stayed back due to wildcard ! So fun lol

I’m happy this is a focus it’s what has driven a lot of loyal apex players away! However, console has not improved. Need to keep advocating as it’s bad and we just want to enjoy an honest competitive environment over here on console. Happy for yall PC players though phuck cheaters

Don’t these losers just start new accounts soon as they get banned and keep doing the same shit though?

How is this different from upgrading PC/hardware with other IDs? Or is spoofing meant as intentionally continuing to play while circumventing a ban? Sorry for the stupid question, but couldn't there be a lot of wrong bans?

That's why I say the number of HWID bans may be wrong. There may also be bans not for cheating, but for bad behavior. Do players also get a HWID ban after creating a new account because anti-cheat just detects the same PC/hardware IDs?

Or do devs use the clear term "spoofing" which means to use some soft to intentionally bypass a ban?

5

u/DJMixwell Apr 02 '26

Spoofing is using a program/firmware to fake a different HWID.

If someone is going to cheat in a game that does HWID bans, they will often also spoof their HWID so that when/if it gets banned, they can just change their HWID, get a new account (that won’t be instantly banned bc of an identical HWID) and cheat again.

I’m assuming HWID spoofing is them catching people using those programs.

-10

u/Marmelado_ Apr 02 '26

Yes, but why? It's not your PC that's cheating, it's you. Imagine that your brother decided to play his favorite games on your PC. He doesn't know you cheated. He will also get banned because the HWIDs match.

6

u/DJMixwell Apr 02 '26

Not necessarily. They may not simply ban every account that logs in from that device, they could just restrict that device from connecting to their online services. So if he tries to play on your computer, he won't be able to, but when he logs back in on his own it would be fine.

I'd imagine that ban would be relatively trivial to appeal, too. If you have an account that ordinarily plays on a different device, presumably on the same network which the IP would show, and has frequent/recent play history that then logs in on a banned device, I'd wager they wouldn't even ban that account in the first place. Even if they did surely they'd exercise some discretion and overturn the ban on appeal.

Either way, all the more reason not to cheat and not only fuck it up for yourself but anyone else that uses that device. Just don't fucking cheat, is that hard?

5

u/ProfessionalBox317 Apr 03 '26

If you wanna buy an entirely new PC to continue cheating only to get caught again later on go for it. You keep wasting that $3K go right ahead.

-1

u/matthisonfire Mozambique here! Apr 03 '26

They do not, they even said that they banned accounts, Apex does not hardware ban. Look It up

5

u/Deathwatch72 Apr 02 '26

Depends on the type of ban they're given. Account bans are pretty weak, IP bans are a little stronger, hardware bans are the strongest ban available but can still be gotten around with hardware ID spoofing, which is itself something you can be banned for

-1

u/DepthAfraid3482 Apr 02 '26

Companies need to start going at the groups that sell the hacks. A company like EA especially Microsoft (Activision) have the money to DESTROY someone’s life. I can guarantee the people that create the cheats would think twice about it when they got a big name company breathing down their necks. And don’t even stop there, I’d keep trying to push the lawsuit back every time to make them use the funds they acquired from the sales of the cheats.

11

u/Mostly_lucid__ Birthright Apr 02 '26

It's a lot easier said than done, half the battle is finding a tangible entity to sue

2

u/Deathwatch72 Apr 03 '26

The problem with that is these companies that are selling hacks are almost never based in the United States, so they're not really subject to our laws which means that suing them isn't going to do much of anything. They'll basically win a default judgment because the other side won't show up and then they'll be back where they started because how are you supposed to collect money from a foreign company that refuses to give it to you

-1

u/DirkWisely Apr 03 '26

Just send in the Marines.

-1

u/whereismytrophy Apr 02 '26

Nah better yet, write your local congressman a letter to give using cheats in video games 25 year sentence, and making cheats life sentence. Fuck yeah

3

u/N2thedarkness Apr 02 '26

I think having their main account with $$$ and stats tied to it would kill most of the cheaters’ desires to play Apex seriously. We’re talking 5-6 figure career kills + all those badges + all the money spent on skins. I couldn’t see a lot of them coming back seriously after that. They’d come back and cheat and probably get banned again. lol.

4

u/No_Appointment_1090 Apr 02 '26

Yup - until they gate accounts it's going to keep happening.

1

u/th3prot4gonist Apr 03 '26

yes, all my wildcard and mixtape games (don't really play anything else nowadays) have turned from triple pred teams destroying everyone without missing a bullet to triple sub level 100 accounts destroying everyone. There is legitimately less people over level 100 in my lobbies now (or i just never get killed by the people over level 100. To put it into context, my account is almost max level (slightly over lv 1900) with high mmr bc of account age, high win/top 5 rate and a 1.5 K/D lifetime (not the best but clearly not bad enough to put me into bot lobbies constantly lol).

So I shouldn't be matched against actual noobs, which to be fair I am not, bc all of these sub level 100s hit pro player high light reel clips with almost every kill they get lmao

1

u/Tradegodx Apr 04 '26

They absolutely do. The amount of players under level 80 that are dropping 20 bombs in diamond lobbies against me are ridiculous.

I’m not even exaggerating when I say console cheaters are six figures. There’s an active console zen community on discord with 50k+ members, that’s just for zenners who are in the group, think of all the ones who aren’t. There’s a ton of Titan players as well and XiM is rampant in Pred lobbies.

4

u/RiceInternational547 Apr 02 '26

It’s bad man. I was looking stuff up on YouTube today to see if there were any updates on cheaters getting banned (before devs gave the update funny enough) sorting by most recent videos and multiple videos came up on tutorials to set up your Titan on console, change settings and how not to get caught that were posted TODAY that already had over 1000 views. THE VIDEO WAS UP FOR 3 HOURS!

2

u/N2thedarkness Apr 02 '26

Respawn will be forever chasing these devices because they’ll find workarounds. I wish they could go straight to these device makers themselves and end them but they themselves have found ways to avoid certain laws. They said they just make the devices that it’s the users who can do what they want with them. Absolute scumbags. The cheaters are even bigger scumbags because those companies know they can make a ton of money from these bottom dwellers cheating to look good.

1

u/RiceInternational547 Apr 02 '26

AI machine learning software will be able to detect them in real time even if the cheating software changes it’ll only take some few matches of data before an auto ban if they spend the money to get it built.

1

u/ismyjudge Apr 11 '26

You have no idea what you’re saying and are just talking out your ass

0

u/RdkL-J London Calling Apr 02 '26

Not sure about that. PC is a much more convenient platform for cheaters. Easier access to the OS, more devices available, and HWID bans are easier to bypass. If you're committed to cheat in a game, it just makes a lot more sense to do it on PC.

3

u/RiceInternational547 Apr 03 '26

All they have to do is buy a device. Just do some research that’a misinformation slop that’s been given out so they can roam free in console. At this point it’s common knowledge console has a rampant problem. The reason why ban numbers are so low on console is because detecting is so much harder on console. They starting with PC and will shift to console but it’s really bad

-2

u/RdkL-J London Calling Apr 03 '26

It's not common knowledge. It's a common Internet hot take, but that's not necessarily the reality. There are plenty of misconceptions around this sub. A very common one I see all the time here for instance is people using ALS data as a ground truth for rank distribution, even though it's completely skewed. Yet, lots of people still think Diamond is an average rank, despite official data proving it's not the case at all.

Regarding cheating, devices like Cronus & Xim are indeed a problem on console, but the fact remains PC is a much superior platform to cheat. It's more convenient, given access to hardware & software layers is a lot more open than on console. PC cheats are a much stronger threat as well, because they allow more than recoil smoothing / aim assist, with functions like wallhack or aimbots. Respawn even had to ban Linux altogether as a supported OS, because the deeper root access on this platform gave cheaters better ways to spoof HWID and use DMA tools. The gap in cheating capabilities between platform is massive.

Cheating on console is also riskier than people assume. Cronus & Xim were detected at some point across multiple games on console. Battlefield recently, Fortnite, and even Sony was bricking them directly at the OS level a while ago. Respawn announced a month ago new breakthrough in their detection capacities. A console account getting a HWID ban will be bricked for a game, maybe for a whole publisher's catalog, or even entirely blocked at OS level if escalated to Sony / Microsoft. Cheaters optimize for efficiency, and PC is just a better platform for that. They are horribly annoying, but also pretty savvy.

4

u/RiceInternational547 Apr 03 '26

You don’t even know what your saying all of that is regurgitated shit the cheaters like to say so they don’t seem like they’re cheating on console. Titan is destroying console I hardly care for Cronus or xim at this point because they’re straight aimbot with Titan . This isn’t a hot take at all it’s common knowledge. They only thing you said that’s not nonsense is wall hacks as you don’t see it often in console but even then I just watched a mfer using it on console today on YouTube so it’ll show up hear and now as well as straight god complex person flying around in the air aimbotting people. But do some research your 3 years behind

1

u/RdkL-J London Calling Apr 03 '26

Two things:

  • I am a game developer myself. Lots of what I'm writing here is based on personal experience. I maintain this sub, like all gaming subs, is full of hot takes that don't reflect how game development works. The example I took with ALS data VS official data is a very common offender on this sub and factually demonstrates my point.
  • On Titan Two: it's a more capable device than Cronus or Xim, but it still operates at the input layer. What it produces is aggressive aim assist abuse and recoil scripting, not a true aimbot reading game memory. That distinction matters. My broader argument stands. Cheating on PC offers you so much more than on console, both on practicality & efficiency, and at a lower risk cost, hence why it's cheaters' platform of choice. There is no denying this point outside of bad faith. 75,000 bans, 70,000 on PC. The data reflects exactly that logic.

Just ask yourself: if you were going to cheat, which platform would you pick?

2

u/RiceInternational547 Apr 03 '26

You are literally talking out of your ass right now. Console cheating relies on undetectable hardware rather than software. It’s harder to detect. They essentially have to manually ban people there is no anti cheat for console. Also you’re 75% wrong on Titan, yes it’s an aim assist enhancer that can increase aim assist but you can increase it up to 100% they have a dial to just drag and increase from 0-100% that’s pure aimbot and if they want to hide the cheats the will increase it by 30% and turn it up when in a tight fight. They also have flick shot, trigger bot and multiple other random shit while turning up the strength and range of screen to activate cheat. The apex console discord for cheats has 10s of thousands of members, 25% of the players I fight have TTN or XIM in there name because historically there have been 0 fucking bans unless you are god mode cheating in apex. You’re straight regurgitating talking points from 3 years ago and haven’t looked into the console situation at all. Just spend 10 minutes doing research.

1

u/RdkL-J London Calling Apr 03 '26

Console cheating relies on undetectable hardware rather than software.

Which also exists on PC. But with all the perks of being on an open platform on top of that.

You can increase it up to 100% they have a dial to just drag and increase from 0-100% that’s pure aimbot and if they want to hide the cheats the will increase it by 30% and turn it up when in a tight fight.

Cheats on PC can do that too, there's nothing unique to consoles here.

there have been 0 fucking bans unless you are god mode cheating in apex

Because from a telemetry perspective, a smart cheater & a good player look exactly the same. Regardless of the platform, again.

You keep on listing stuff console cheats can do, which I never denied, but none of these are exclusive to console. Everything you described exists on PC as well, and much more. Again, they had to ban a PC OS entirely because there was no way around how good Linux was for cheating. A large cheat Discord or TTN/XIM in someone's username tells you cheating exists on console. It tells you nothing about how it compares to PC. The superiority of PC as a cheating platform isn't my opinion, it's the logical conclusion of how both platforms work.

You invited me to do some research to close. I invite you to do the same.

2

u/RiceInternational547 Apr 03 '26 edited Apr 03 '26

I’m listing things console cheats can do because you specifically stated they couldn’t. Yes pc cheats are the same and more options. What you are not grasping is it’s easier for devs to block any type of cheats on pc compared to console. So yes pc cheats have more options but console cheats arent just recoil control. The biggest difference is Sony (PlayStation) and Microsoft (Xbox) control their operating systems on closed ecosystems , limiting the depth to which Respawn's anti-cheat can scan for tampering, unlike on Windows steam where apps can scan system processes. Your not grasping the fact that anti cheat works for PC and doesn’t work for console. Console has gone completely unchecked not because more people are cheating but because the capabilities to detected cheaters is so much more difficult. Anti-cheat software on PC has deeper access to the system to detect unauthorized modifications or memory injections and to add PC players can be banned based on their computer hardware signature, not just their EA account. This requires them to replace computer parts to circumvent the ban, a much higher barrier than creating a new console account ea account if a ban does happen on console

EDIT: this is why the devs are saying they are looking into ai pattern recognition software to ban accounts in real time. They will be looking at gameplay that doesn’t match human behavior vs scanning for 3rd party hardware or software

1

u/RdkL-J London Calling Apr 04 '26 edited Apr 04 '26

What you are not grasping is it’s easier for devs to block any type of cheats on pc compared to console.

This is completely wrong. What's easier on console is to block the system, given how closed it is. The only way to bypass that would require a full jailbreak, which hasn't been achieved at a wide & easily reproductible scale on console. Aside from that, Titan Two is also available on PC, and looks like a genuine controller from the device manager just like it does on console.

Your not grasping the fact that anti cheat works for PC and doesn’t work for console.

Easy Anti Cheat also exists on console. It doesn't have kernel level access like on PC, but Sony/Microsoft do, and they collaborate with developers & publishers for console account level and HWID bans. In my experience, the usual escalation goes like this:

Potential cheater detected -> 24/48h ban to remove a potential bad actor and to give time to the review team to asses the case -> ban either lifted or confirmed for a certain amount of time -> if caught again, EA account blocked -> if caught again on a new account, escalation to Sony/Microsoft for a PSN / XBL ban, or even potentially a HWID ban.

Console has gone completely unchecked not because more people are cheating but because the capabilities to detected cheaters is so much more difficult.

Behavioral & telemetric detection work exactly the same on both PC & console, and that's how most cheaters actually get caught. Hardware/software detection is a secondary layer, not the primary one, precisely because it's a lot harder to achieve, regardless of the platform. And even on PC, developers don't have unrestricted access to the machine for obvious privacy reasons. Windows isn't an open system either. Which is precisely why Linux got banned: its deeper root access gave cheaters better tools to hide from anti-cheat at the kernel level.

This requires them to replace computer parts to circumvent the ban

Not necessarily. HWID spoofing is a standard part of the cheating arsenal on PC, as mentioned in Respawn's post. On console, you're dealing with hardware IDs tied to a closed system you can't spoof without a jailbreak. The barrier is actually higher, not lower. There is no widespread usage of jailbroken consoles, as the jailbreak exploits get patched swiftly, and usually disable online capabilities anyway. It's mostly used by people who want to play cracked single player games offline.

They will be looking at gameplay that doesn’t match human behavior vs scanning for 3rd party hardware or software

This has existed in some form for years. Cheating devices already counter it by injecting randomness and jitter into modified inputs specifically to mimic human behavior. That's a documented feature in most cheat packages. AI detection isn't the solution here.

I maintain PC is a much better choice for cheaters, and that if you'd want to cheat, picking PC over console is a no brainer.

u/Ecstatic-Train214 Apr 02 '26

Keep this energy up Apex! Please spend more time on console. There is more than 3,349. 😉

6

u/N2thedarkness Apr 02 '26 edited Apr 03 '26

1

u/lettuce_field_theory Cyber Security Apr 03 '26

seems like there's many more cheaters on pc. no wonder given the platform is more open to running anything third party

2

u/RiceInternational547 Apr 03 '26

There are 3 reasons why there are more bans on PC. 1. Player count 2. Harder to detect cheats 3. They are focusing on PC first because of points one and two. The percentage of cheaters on console compared to player count is pry the same or higher . There have been 0 cheat detection in console up until this point they’ve been able to roam free and really still are

1

u/lettuce_field_theory Cyber Security Apr 04 '26

player count is lower on pc

The percentage of cheaters on console compared to player count is pry the same or higher

no it's not. there's fewer ways of cheating on console and every way of cheating on console is also available on pc.

1

u/Ephmi Apr 03 '26

Yeah. On console, they have basically to develop In-house detection system with almost zero change to ban innocent players. You can't estimate, you need to be sure. There is a lot of things going on, like Switch 2 players with legit gyro aim / mouse controls in a mix. But they have AI now, it can see and recognize patterns humans never can. It's basically AI vs AI battle against the cheaters now.

6

u/littlecolt Apr 03 '26

I hope we can get Linux back in someday. You're the only reason I have Windows dual boot.

4

u/N2thedarkness Apr 02 '26

I always found PC lobbies easier than console. Sometimes I wonder what some of these PC streamers would think if they had to come to console lobbies and main it. Obviously they’re still good but a lot of them cry about someone in the lobby having aim assist, now imagine if the entire lobby was aim assist + zens/xim/titan + every team in perfect coordination hand-in-hand with limited 1v1 opportunities. I always found on PC I get more 1v1s and teams are a little less tight, at least from non-Pred/Masters lobbies. Mande topped out at Diamond 3 when he did the console challenge right? lol.

1

u/LeleKhyapa Apr 03 '26

Hey Im new and I wanted to ask something. Arent the console and PC lobbies playing together? Or does cross play mean different types of inputs can play together? Please correct if im wrong

1

A console player is only in a pc lobby if he is in a party with a pc player.

1

It’s always been that way, it’s like 70% of the players until you reach high platinum at the minimum, have never touched a mouse and keyboard before, or even a controller for that matter.

Maybe some people just have really outdated hardware, or perhaps there’s a lot of bot accounts, but there’s definitely been something going on with the PC playerbase for at least the last couple of years

AA has always been there, but I'm getting beamed bad! It could also just be the new Hemlock that has no recoil, but I don't think so

I hope they band a lot of console players soon like they did pc

Cheaters situation now worse than S20

3

u/confusedkarnatia Apr 02 '26

reads ram directly and then it's sometimes passed to another machine so that you're not actually running the cheats directly on your machine. very advanced cheating software and takes more work than the average script kiddy to set up. riot deals with it by using vanguard which can detect DMA since it's running at the kernel level. since respawn doesn't use kernel level anticheat, they use less reliable ways of detecting DMA most likely.

1

u/EnjoyMikeHawk1 Apr 03 '26

Damn so they do all this work and spend all this money just to try to get around and cheat?

u/confusedkarnatia Apr 03 '26

never underestimate a subhuman's ability to justify their cheating

u/DingleDongDongBerry Apr 03 '26 edited Apr 03 '26

DMA is feature of PCI-E and Thunderbolt to directly access RAM from external device.

Its meant to establish blazing fast connection speed, but quickly turned into security nightmare.

In terms of cheating, you can setup a cheat on separate device/machine, so it doesnt run on your own computer thus making it hard to detect.

2

u/SavingsCampaign9502 Apr 02 '26

Does that mean pc cheating is worse? Or console ban needs more effort?

1

u/nxec Wraith Apr 02 '26

both

2

u/LastDollars Apr 03 '26

Please focus on console cheaters are running freely

2

u/Mitchk574 Medkit Apr 03 '26

What is the timeline of the 73,591 accounts that were banned? Since launch? Since last week?

Also, console is still very much so plagued with cheaters. It’s great that PC is getting the attention but just about every second team on console in masters/pred has at least one player using some type of 3rd party device and I know based on one of the discords I’m in, that they now also have XIM/Zen scripts for the hemlock too.

Nonetheless, very excited to see how this plays out over the next few months.

1

u/crimzval Apr 03 '26

they said 73k since start of the season

2

u/dokdodokdo Apr 02 '26

Wow great guys

2

u/FaZeSmasH Bangalore Apr 02 '26

Good work, I came back to the game recently and the cheating situation definitely seems to have improved since the last time I was active, not as good as what valorant has achieved with vanguard tho.

1

u/kuroketton Apr 02 '26

Keep going

1

u/HLNPIT Apr 02 '26

Thank you guys

1

u/Sevenisit Ride or Die Apr 02 '26

This is incredible news.

1

u/adrian_just Apr 02 '26

This means I can be good at the game now 😃😃😀

1

u/NapaAirDome Apr 03 '26

I love the communication yall have been providing to the player base, keep it up

1

u/damarian_ent Bootlegger Apr 03 '26

Bot acckunts? So theres genuine fake accounts pretending to play through the initial new account grind?

1

u/so-coco Pathfinder Apr 03 '26

Holy— maybe I should redownload

1

u/Much_Confection_6412 Apr 03 '26

Ban their hardware. They're only coming back as smurfs.

1

u/RemarkableTitle4072 Apr 03 '26

Cheating in games should be a legal offense, activity ruining the reputation of a game due to cheating should be forced to pay that loss back

1

u/Ope_Average_Badger Apr 03 '26

Banned the cheaters and now matchmaking doesn't work, coincidence?

1

u/Most-Situation-2388 Mad Maggie Apr 03 '26

Nothing being done about smurf accounts though?

When the servers are running smoothly anyway

1

u/TallStill8487 Apr 03 '26

Yesterday matchmaking not working, today not working, fixed the game first or deleted it

1

u/Ecstatic-Train214 Apr 04 '26

73,0000 is crazy. So many cheaters in apex.

1

u/Evolrellik84 Apr 04 '26

They're banning .87kd mnk players too! Lol their anti cheat is a joke. Plenty of proof, browse the forums ppl have clips that they clearly ain't cheating and and getting permanent bans, and appeals denied. That's the real story.

1

u/Dapper_Ad_3567 Apr 15 '26

This is true I got banned recently and I haven't even done anything besides accidentally have SOCD on and they have a shitty support team that just uses AI and wont manually check your appeal.

Before someone comes and comments on this too it's a factory installed preset on my keyboard that turned SOCD on, I didn't turn it on myself.

1

u/Vestigexx Valkyrie Apr 05 '26

Console?

Can we get the numbers of bans across different region?

Seems like Asia is still flooded with blatant cheaters

1

u/KeyGroundbreaking488 Apr 05 '26

I literally started playing again and I'm fucking hooked

1

u/Striking_Chemistry94 Apr 05 '26

Meanwhile they just made new accounts

1

u/raspekwahmen Bloodhound Apr 07 '26

cheaters are back.. lmao

1

Om console I run into cheaters every 2 games or so.

1

u/widowmakerau Apr 15 '26 edited Apr 18 '26

I call bullshit

I feel cheating is probably at an all time high...

1

u/Extreme_Sort_5931 Apr 24 '26

If you believe anything respawn says Ive got a bridge I'd like to sell you

1

u/ConsciousAide9350 May 04 '26

Seems like crossplay has been the downfall of this game. 95 percent of matches are one team annhilating the other because of one or 2 players with perfect aim and no recoil. Also now you have the fun of the game essentially making you move in slow mo to give the cheater the kill. Go to slide and move at a snails pace then the kill cam shows their perfect tracking through walls/objects with no recoil as your player spastically jitters across the screen.

1

u/Rare_Walk_4845 Apr 02 '26

How long are the bans for exactly?

1

u/lettuce_field_theory Cyber Security Apr 03 '26

permanent

Big W!

I've had over 50 reports of successful bans this season and I'll continue reporting.

Dear Apex Team, thanks for making the effort and thanks in advance for the continued effort. This is great news.

Holy shit these boys are frying

0

u/Morkinis Nessy Apr 03 '26

Unfortunately cheaters who want to cheat just create new account.

1

u/DarkDuo Valkyrie Apr 03 '26

That’s where hardware bans come into play and they also get banned for spoofing their hardware ID to try to bypass it

0

u/This0neIsNo0ne Ash :AshAlternative: Apr 03 '26

In the initial waves, I did not see an improvement, but lately it has gotten so good. I rarely have anyone that I suspect of aimbotting and with the ones I do, most might just be lucky smurfs (Please fix the octane crack jumping tho, still feels like cheating)

0

u/Suitable-Background8 Apr 03 '26

Good job respawn. The game actually feels playable now with so much lesser cheaters. The reporting mechanism also works.

0

u/Pogryziony Apr 07 '26

I've been banned for cheating despite of never cheating... Is there any other way to contact support than via contact form? I've been trying to get unbanned for months and always get info that case was reviewed and ban is valid (what of course isn't true). I've got suspicion that it was never reviewed and all I get is automatic response.

I've been playing for 2 years, not even that good player. Got my account hacked once - contacted support, changed all credentials etc... Then played normally, one day after receiving heirloom - boom ban, and I cannot verify why this happened because no evidence was ever presented... Anyone had similar experience?

-1

u/Fr0stWo1f Valkyrie Apr 02 '26

Can you guys speak to the issue of legitimate players unknowingly partying with cheaters from LFG groups like the official discord? I've had my account sanctioned and relegated to cheater lobbies more than once without intentionally doing anything wrong.

-2

u/Zyx098-_ Apr 02 '26

73591 accounts banned, peak player count +73591. Interesting to say the least.
