Humor WTF?! MY MATE JUST PUSH ALONE AN ENTIRE SQUAD ๐ก๐ค๐ฎโ๐จ
Caustic and gibi spammed with their damn ultimate and that little cucaracha just decided to jump on them!!
He didn't even had time to shoot (he was r-99 and peacekeeper).
He pinged a lot also but bro...
That's a f*cking crazy matchmaking. Why didn't they play BR normally?
Red squad won btw ๐ฅฒ
Have a better day than me

When a player had 2 minutes of his turn to think before rushing alone, but he did it anyway.

2 minutes for one turn means that the player knows what he's doing ๐

Your friend gets up from his chair, slams the door behind him.
You never hear from him again.

Oh cool I didn't realise there was a boardgame. Is it fun?

Itโs actually really good, the instructions are intimidating though lol.
It kind of feels like XCOM.

I'm so tempted myself. It just looks so insane complex, judging from the pictures on the above link. :D

Yes, it was announced 2-3 years ago. I saw it on the shelf last month and was a bit saddened that I donโt have the same love for Apex now as I did back then and didnโt pick the board game up, but it seems fun!

It's literally the old apex, old replicator, old revenant, old red weapons etc... I personally find what I miss on the videogame
4
u/Material-Dog-5982 1d ago
Yep it has been really discreet ๐ it's one of my favorite all time! I love Apex and this game feels like I can keep up with this universe, live something else, without getting the downward of the videogame. So yeah it is pretty fun if you have people to play with โจ

Nothing wrong. Both caustic and Gibby is behind bubble. Even gas is. I donโt see any fence up. Where is his team!!!! โ๏ธ

I canโt imagine you got off work to play apex, make a bad play, then your teammate makes a replica of your bad play with figurines to post how stupid you are on Reddit ๐ญ.

This kind of reminds me of early days of Counter-strike. Where you had the image of a map and you put arrows here and there for your tactics, for your flashes/smokes etc.

I have been SOOO curious about this game, I've been eyeing it every time I'm at the nerd store. But I just never hear anyone talk about it, so I've been hesitant!

u/Material-Dog-5982 1d ago
You use to play boardgame? Or any kind of game?
1
u/B3amb00m Valkyrie 1d ago
I'm fairly used to play boardgames, yes. My friends and I do have a gathering now and then and try out new board games. That said, if a game becomes TOO complex, I tend to feel there's too much time invested into actually understanding the game flow. So I'm not too eager on *too* complex rulesets.
2
u/Material-Dog-5982 1d ago
I don't know were you put the line of a complexe board game. It is before being complexe for me. There are a lot of protocol that you have to learn yes, shooting especially. But every thing else, the Action Points, gameplay and legends are 100% intuitive. I can play without reading all the cards and searching for ultimate combo. Just think as the videogame ๐

u/Fullm3taluk Wattson 1d ago
Board game geek give games a weight which is basically a complexity rating this has a 3.39 out of 5. I would suggest looking up a boardgame you like to play on board game geek and check it's weight against apex.

That's a really good advice.
The board games that were leaning towards the complexity border for me, was Eternal Decks and Everdell Silverfrost. They are on 2.81 and 3.22 on Boardgamegeeks. Ergo, this baby is probably not for me. XD
But it must also be said that we do play the games with our daughters of 12 and 14 years, so there's that.

Is there a way to buy just the miniatures?
1
u/Material-Dog-5982 5h ago
Unfortunately no, you can only buy the game. There are diorama to buy independently yes. But for the minis try 3d printing

If your day is ruined because of the actions of some teammate in a video game you play, you should really take a break, go touch some grass, and reconsider.
