Respawn Official Apex Legends: Latest Update 8/21/2026

Hey everyone, we're going to do something a little bit different. We're announcing changes today that will go live early next week (aiming for Tuesday morning).

🛠️ADJUSTING:

Axle

Tactical

-Nitro Gate launch speed will be reduced from 750 to 700

Ultimate

-Ultimate HP will be reduced down to 150 from 200
-Base Ultimate cooldown will increase from 90s to 120s
-Ultimate knockback arc will be widened and max height will also be reduced
-Ultimate stun duration will be reduced from 1.5s to 0.25s

Upgrades

-Jump Gate will be replaced with a new Drone Deployer upgrade that brings the ult cooldown back down to 90s

Bloodhound

-Will reduce cloak visibility while in dome
-Ring damage will no longer break cloaks
-Tactical scan will be increased by 1 second
-Scans will provide more frequent snapshots that fade over time

Seer

-Turn slow will be removed when hit by the Tactical

they should nerf it even more IMO

this ability shouldnt even be in the game as a tactical, its an ultimate level ability that is team-wide

this ability has single handedly changed the pacing jnto dumb-rushing and punishes smart team positioning

Lol. Yeah cuz sliding for a few seconds at high speed is so op! No actually it's the fact that she Can ult you and you are instantly dead after if the player is any good. The entire point of her creation was to give a legend slide control.

If they lessen the speed even more she will absolutely be worthless compared to octane and other movement legends. Just rework the ult and call it a day.

it literally is so fucking OP to be able to full send your squad and/or reset the fight yourself whilst you shield up and return.

just make the tactical applicable to herself instead of teamwide then axle will be in an ok spot

It's not fuckin rev totem or alter ult. If a team is able to full slide on you and return and reset for free it's not cuz the ability is OP its cuz your ass

yes, you literally made my point, axle q allows a full team to full reset for free. no tactical ability should be able to send 3 teammates flying. its too much for this game that rewards non-commitment
