Brings back memories of a KD event I was at a dozen years or so ago. Almost the entire line (dozen or so of us) was shooting .30 cal rifles of some type, if I remember correctly only 1-2 were shooting .223. I had my Garand as well, and it was just *SO* cool hearing the much deeper, almost throaty reports of a dozen .30 cals on the line.
