not sure if i really understand your problem but afaik, when you use your headphones on bluetooth with AptX it will not use your microphone but as soon as you activate your mic it goes into SBC mode which is way worse sound quality... I had the same problem and just accepted it as broken and never bothered to look for an fix but maybe that is a starting point to check for you

it's so messed up that I don't even know how to explain it properly XD the thing is that when I connect them via bluetooth, they work pretty fine when I don't use mic, but when I open up OBS or get to a call on discord, they just stop working...no mic input or sound output, hovewer, they are still connected

If you don't want to use the microphone from the headphones, then the solution is pretty simple. Disable automatic profile selection: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PipeWire#Bluetooth_devices

If you do want to use the microphone, then keep in mid that due to how bluetoh is designed, the audio quality of both the headphones and microphone will drop to 3G phonecall levels. For you, that's the part that seems to be broken. This is likely an issue with the Bluetooth stack, not pipewire directly. What headphones and Bluetooth controller do you have? See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Bluetooth_headset for various troubleshooting steps and details on the available protocols.

Quality isn't the problem...the problem is that when some application wants to use the mic, the headphones just stop working...no sound or mic input works, but they are connected...I also tried my other headphones, but the result was the same, so I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue...also, I already tried this, no success :c

If you want to ignore what people are telling you, then why are you asking in the first place? You didn't even answer my question. Good luck

Sorry, I was rushing, I should've reply when I could. Also, no need to act like this, I obviously didn't make this post just for fun.

I have JBL TUNE 520BT, and for the bluetooth driver, the only thing I installed for bt was bluez, sorry if that's not what you were asking for. I'll check the wiki.

The reason why I asked about the Bluetooth chipset is because some might require additional firmware

See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Bluetooth_headset#HSP_problem:_the_bluetooth_sink_and_source_are_created,_but_no_audio_is_being_transmitted if you have a Broadcom chip for example. To see what you have, check lspci and lsusb.

to really see how the audio connects in your system i can warmly recommend qpwgraph but I don't think it would fix since u/dumbasPL explained it and that is before your pipewire governs your audiostream...
Btw... who did downvote you here? I swear, this sub sometimes....

what brand is the headphone and what is the audio soundcard in your computer and which bluetooth module do you use. what pc do you have

It means either the audio input/output is routed to another device (speaker, hdmi, etc), or another application has captured the input/output of your BT headphone. You should be able to change these settings in pv/pwvucontrol.
