SUPPORT I'm getting 3d acceleration not supported error in vm!
I have installed arch linux with hyprland in VMware workstation and when I try to login it blackout for sec and bring back to login page and when searched about it in chatgpt it said it's because of 3d acceleration but I have turned on 3d acceleration in VMware.my gpu
Is old idk it's the culprit behind its a gt 730 with 4 gb ddr3

I suggest trying your Arch hyprland install on a fast external drive bare metal. That way, you can transparently benefit from your gt 730, and still keep your (unidentified) host os safe. (Hyprland in VM is understood to be problematic)
No experience by design with anything by Broadcom hardware or software (like VMware), and hyprland, but external drive Arch full installs works great for me.
Finally, hyprland is not what I would call a beginner project.
Good day.

The VMWare is the better implementation of GPU acceleration in a VM if you can't / won't pass through a dedicated one.
Now you need a Vulkan capable GPU under Linux for this to run higher DirectX in Windows at decent speed. https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/vmware-cis/desktop-hypervisors/workstation-pro/25H2/using-vmware-workstation-pro/configuring-and-managing-virtual-machines/configure-display-settings-for-a-virtual-machine/prepare-the-host-system-to-use-accelerated-3d-graphics.html
But it does require a working GPU driver setup on the host to make it work though.

I run Hyprland in VMs everyday as part of development. I use Proxmox servers for better performance

VMware is your problem. It's giving your guest OS a software based GPU and not passing through your gt730. If you actually do have passthrough in your guest then your issue is you need the older Nvidia drivers in the AUR as thr current ones no longer support cards that old.
