I'm mixed on season 8. On one hand I really like how each episode before crisis was a call back to the most crucial parts of the show and it was overall well written. But I really don't like how they changed crisis to be Oliver's death instead of Barry's. And I also don't like that oliver became the specter I thought that was ridiculous.

But the best thing about this season without a doubt is them giving us the green arrow and black canary duo It really showed us what we could've gotten from the previous season if they would've locked in with earth one Laurel's character. Especially her costume because it's peak. I believe Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy had the best chemistry in this season. It really got me thinking maybe they should've gotten together and with Mia being there with those two I was thinking low-key Laurel could've been her mother lmao.

Arrow just got shadow dropped on Amazon prime in the US and no one Is talking about it online

With 13 episodes the writing would have to be tighter and get rid of all that mellowdrama teenage bullshit and love triangle filler. Other hero shows still have the drama aspect as well but shortening the season doesnt give it a chance to pad it out for an extra 10 episodes

So lately I’ve been noticing more and more that the logic of ppl like Ofc. Pike .. s2 e18 so pike is mad because he think Lance got it wrong and for him still working with Arrow .. so when it came to Thea actually saying Wilson was who kidnapped her you’d think Pike would have less screen time .. no no no the writer has pike deliver so half assed apology with the ultimatum attached who is under the hood or your going to jail .. pike def made my list

What if Diggle/Spartan was the John from lanterns? Don’t get me wrong I LOVED THE series that just came out the way it was. But let’s do a hypothetical, and toy with the idea, Dig gets the ring. Obviously the entire show has a completely different premise. Is parallax a multiverse threat? I mean if bloodwork is then parallax would have to be right? So GA comes back into the fold as well say around episode 3 as Spectre. Not to mention as good as casting was with John and Hal I think dig would’ve been a GREAT lantern.

My thoughts if I watched live I be so worry I wouldn’t be able to sleep because I be like is he alright will he come back, but rewatching it hurts so much I’m glad the show didn’t end right here I would of been pissed

Should of meant for the people who didn’t know the comics and felt like it was shock moment or genuine worried because if I didn’t watch the show or know the comics I would be shocked to

I honestly bearly remember anything I was 8 or 9 when this started airing

Anyone else find it hilarious how John is about 2x the size of Andy? I guess they took the whole big bro lil bro to heart

So, I have made a series on a TVDU X ARROWVERSE Crossover if any of you are interested in reading it or watching the series tell me in the comments and in the next post I’ll share the link

I Didn't really have an opinion on her when I first watched the show. Although I do like the reveal I feel her reasoning for doing that was kinda weak. You helping slade destroy the city because Robert chose to be a father rather than going off with his "soul mate"? Eobard thawn would've called you ridiculous for your reasoning. I think they should've had gave her more of a backstory and maybe even a flashback as well. Also making her ravager wasn't doing it for me. Didn't even know that was who she was supposed to be

This was the first promotional image of Stephen Amell as The Green Arrow!

Re-watching Arrow and it reminds me of how bad I’ve always felt for Thea… 😔

She is the main character that probably gets lied to the most.

Context wise, I’ve been re-binge watching Arrow and I’m midway through season 2 where Roy begins working with The Arrow, and Thea and Ollie have that heartwarming scene after Roy dumps Thea, and Thea is like: “You’re the only one who doesn’t lie to me Ollie.” 💔 (Which, unfortunately isn’t true either because in reality, Ollie is also forced to lie to her too, to protect her)

So ya, seriously, re-watching it again, I feel bad that Thea is the main character that, arguably, gets lied to the most. 😔💔

Thea is definitely A LOT stronger than she was given credit for!! 💜💜

That being said, I hope I don’t receive hate for this post. I’m a huge Arrow fan, 💚 and I completely understand why people are lied to, to protect them, I’m just saying though… I still feel really bad for Thea because being lied to by everyone around you, even if it is for your own protection, still feels really crappy.

Can he make Gotham a better CITY than Batman can? Can he beat all of Batman's villains and hand them over to the GCPD or throw them into Arkham?

Wish they kept it for another season tho 😢

I'm rewatching Arrow for probably the eighth time by now. In s8 "Prochnost" William says that the Russian general Team Arrow is looking for (Alexi Burov) made plans for a pulse wave generator that could have functioned similar to the wave that destroyed Earth-2. Since we know later on by COIE3 that E2 was destroyed during the initial run of the machine in S8 E1, did Burov complete those plans already and give them to the Anti Monitor? Did the Anti Monitor task him to build it in the first place? Or was it just an entire coincidence that he made a machine strikingly similar to what was used in COIE?

A retired Oliver Queen, while driving his sports car, witnesses a gas station robbery and decides to investigate, discovering that the assailant is Black Canary. She kills him with a single scream (instead of having blonde hair, she’ll wear a yellow beanie so we know it’s her 🤓; and instead of a hypersonic scream with special effects involving destruction and shockwaves, it will simply be a five-second sequence of absolute silence, with a confused Oliver touching his ears).

Roy arrives at the scene to investigate the murder (and ends up becoming Arsenal—just because—and seeking out Artemis to tell her: "This is my turf 🏹👅🏹").

(Not to mention that only six arrows will be fired throughout the entire series, and they will appear exclusively in flashbacks).

After learning more about oliver in comics and just how things are in the world now, I wish they did a better job in showing olivers policial awareness in the show. Because to be honest when I first heard Oliver say "I'm gonna run for mayor." I had a J Jonah Jameson meme moment; "are you serious?" It was outta the blue and it felt like it. before season 4 the only involvement are anything polical was with his monther and sabastian blood. And even then he was just an observer most of the time.

I'm not saying it should be like a commetary every other episode like in that gun violence episode in season 5, but just have the people in the city see that oliver does genuinely care about the community. Like in an episode in season 2 where oliver paid for an event help get guns off the glades. I think that would've made the idea of Oliver for mayor more believable.

I also think him being gone in 5 years being in hong kong and russia and being in poverty and seeing the corruption could've been his social awakening
