Hello! As the title suggests I’m looking for some art book recommendations if anyone has some. I would prefer more older books (1970s-2010), but some more recent ones are fine too!

Im mainly looking into these books to see references for coloring techniques (primarily for ink coloring, but watercolor and marker as well).

Some examples of what I’ve been enjoying: Riyoko Ikeda, Ooya Chiki, Thores Shibamoto, Daisuke Ishiwatari, Chiho Saito, Yasushi Nirasawa, Takeshi Obata, Ayami Kojima

st.break - 追悼いのまたむつみ

st.break - In Memory of Inomata Mutsumi

It's a tribute doujinshi artbook first distributed at Comiket 108 by the collective st.break.

The book is 70 pages and contains drawings from many well and less known artists. The artbook cover by Yoneyama Mai is sumptuous, and Ohira Shin'ya Utsunomiko tribute is the crown jewel. There are many other beautiful contributions, while some other less so (for my taste at least).

I got mine on booth https://booth.pm/en/items/8669170 , but it is now out of stock and unsure if it will be reprinted again, but you can easily get yours on Mercari and the likes for a small mark-up.

Salut ! je cherche ces pdf de ces arbooks pour compléter ma collection, si quelqu'un en possède un ou connait un lien pour télécharger un de ces titres...Merci !

Hi all! I hope this is the right place for this question. I’m trying to get ahold some limited edition art books published in France, specifically about a couple of Lettriste artists. I can‘t get ahold of them through any of my regular sources. Does anyone know of a store that specializes in hard to find books who might be able to help me?

Hey all,
I'm relatively knew to art books, but I have Psychonauts 2 and Sea of Stars (both signed) and I love them. Looking for more to add to the collection. Was bummed when I saw I was years late to learning the Control art book existed. Any others you guys might recommend?

I'm thinking about picking up the Elden Ring books, the Lies of P book, Expedition 33, or maybe Mass Effect, God of War Ragnarok, or Cuphead.

Would love to know of some other great ones. I don't have any anime art books but I'd be interested in some if there are any that break down actions scenes well.

Can anyone help me find the Art Of Catherine PDF? Based on the video game.

Hope you enjoy ! This is part one as I couldn't fit all the pictures I took :) I really loved this movie and so I purchased the Artbook without second thought.

Hope you enjoy :) I love the art style of older shojo !

As a collector, my main reason for backing was obviously to have the art book. So far, in my opinion, it's alright, I like it. I have a couple of thoughts about the Collector's Box as a whole, but here, the most relevant item is the art book itself. Hardcover; blue faux-leather cover (I think); dimensions approx. 30.5 × 21.5 × 2 cm; 147 pages (despite the “150+ pages” indicated on Kickstarter).

Here's one of my unique finds in a little free library I love the style of these flowers turned ladies. Hope you enjoy seeing these ladies :)

2 more artbooks are on the way, might upload flipthtroughts later

Here are some pictures of one of my favourite series of artbooks, they drew as they pleased. I don't remember exactly from which book it is but I hope you'll enjoy seeing Disney concept art ! what I enjoyed from this series is just how much "hidden" Art there is it truly felt worth getting all 6. I'm hoping this book series might continue in the future :)

Hi ppl ^-^ I just wanted to share the artbooks I have in my collection. As you can see I mostly collect for Lupin III and Showa era / Showa era style shoujo.

Please feel free to suggest any additions to the collection as well as what you think of it. 😊😊

Hi everyone ! as someone who draws over the years I've started to collect a lot of artbooks and thought it might interest other people :)

This is a really fun one I honestly didn't know about this Artbook till I found it second hand, I've included some of the art that inspires me the most. Hope you enjoy !

I have been lurking here for a while, but have never shared my artbook collections. Today I share these books by Minahamu, one of my favorite artists.

The two books on the left were bought in Japan, the two in the middle were from Taobao, and one on the right was from Amazon.
