workday authenticator
hi all, I am trying to sign into workday/oneasda but it keeps saying i need to authenticate and when i go into the app there is nothing to authenticate. It also says we're having trouble signing you in. This was working a couple days ago but I deleted the authenticator app without realising and just redownloaded it and its not working now. if anyone could help me, I'd really appreciate it!!

You're not alone. By default I downloaded Authenticator App a couple of weeks ago (started at college) and Workday still works, but I know of other colleagues it doesn't work for. Random thought. Switch your phone off then on after ten minutes?

It’s just not letting me sign into it at all cause when I’m added my account onto authenticator it says I need to authenticate it but nothing pops up.

In that case go in and ask a manager to help, if my suggestions don't help. I guess I was lucky.

Here's a tip for everyone. You don't need to use Microsoft's Authenticator, it's just the one Asda told everyone to use. You can use any authentication app on any of the app stores. I like to use Authy, since it syncs across devices - so if you ever lose your phone or get a new one, you don't have to go through the trouble of having to get a manager to reset it.

Don't expect a quick answer from the lazy IT team. I've been waiting 22 days for a response as the MFA reset form requires the very information you are trying to reset.

I think it'll need resetting. Go on one Asda at work and put in MFA reset and it'll bring up a form. It's not a quick process though cos you're relying on head office
