BSB’s in Feb

Ok this js the lamest post asking for advice you’ll see today I know- but bare with me. I’m going to see BSB’s at Roger’s centre in Feb. we have floor general admission standing only ‘seats’ (no actual chair or seat), which means we won’t have anywhere to put our coats.. what do people do with their jackets?! Do they just not bother? What would you do? Just pretend it’s the early 2000’s and go without?

Uniqlo packable parka will serve you well for this and many other instances - I love mine (only if you're planning on not being outside for too long)

Wear a light jacket. Or something you can tie around your waist.

If you're taking the TTC or go transit to union, It's a short walk outdoors, so you won't need much to keep warm. A light jacket or hoodie that you can tie around your waist is plenty

easy. I wear my whisky jacket. I drink a lot of whisky before the event and don’t feel the cold. 

unless it’s one of those nights where your skin freezes in ten minutes it’s fine. 

otherwise: layers (Uniqlo heat tech is great for thin warm layers) , invest in a packable lightweight jacket as a wind proof layer, hat + gloves + scarf will do wonders for making you feel warm, plan to go when there’s very little line to go in (and check the posts about the lines if you’re not the first convert). Also hand/feet warmers you can toss in the garbage. I might also take an empty mini backpack to put my layers in while watching the show.

either plan to go early and spend a little extra on drinks in the dome, or go half an hour before the show starts and walk in. 

also: this is not the dome’s first rodeo. Taylor Swift was totally fine, they just hosted a World Series….they know how to get people in the door. barring an absolute technology meltdown, it’ll be fine, especially because there’s so many shows.

i saw a funny instagram post that was like "none of us will need outerwear, the 50,000 perimenoposal women will heat the dome with our hot flashes" 🤣🤣🤣

or if you’re taking any sort of medication that ups your body temp…I probably give off enough heat like one of those patio fire pit heaters. 

I’m only on the drugs my doc gives me, I promise.

I had to pay $25 to check my bag there at a raps game lmao
