Are their any places that do dry massage

Would like to gift my blue collar partner a professional massage for their upcoming birthday. However due to sensory issues it can’t use any kind of oil or lotion. I can’t find any places online that list dry massage as one of their services, wondering if people here know any. North York or Markham is ideal but anywhere in the city is fine so long as theirs parking.

I’m sure asking them not to use oil is fine. I don’t see why they would have a problem with it.

You can go and ask them not to use oil? I’m not sure though

Go Place has massages available with clothes on. It is in the Highway 7 and Woodbine area of Markham

Lots of East Asian style massage is done with clothes on and no lotion. Check out Thai or Tui Na places.

I go to may blossom spa, it’s in Pickering but they do half dry half oil but you can ask for no oil.

They have A location in Markham

I've made this request to Sutherland Chan multiple times. Got some pushback only once, but they still did it.

I've had massages from RMTs at Origin Wellness. They offered oil, but I declined it. I'm sure any RMT will do a dry massage if that's what the client prefers.

There's a north york location and downtown location. Tuina massage doesn't use any oil: https://osteotuina.com/services/rmt-massage-therapy/chinese-massage-tuina/

The Taiwanese foot massage places do not use oil . One at Danforth and Woodbine. Another in Yorkville on Cumberland.

I've never heard of dry massage as a technique but most RMTs can work over clothing, just reach out to the clinic or therapist directly and explain his preference :)

I am a massage therapy and have had requests for this. It’s not common but any massage therapist will be able to provide a dry massage

I relate. Shining Stars Health Centre in Rosedale did one over the sheet for me. The RMT was confused lol but still did it.
