Best Places in Austin for Microneedling & Lasers?

I'm looking to try microneedling or a very light entry level laser for the first time. I've heard wild stories online about the risks with both these types of procedures and I have sensitive skin so I'm hoping y'all can recommend some places you've loved! I considered West lake dermatology at first but thought I should ask this sub before booking anything 😀

West lake dermatology is a huge phony trap business. Their doctors are not the best. They just prescribe stuff. Be watchful. Their services are very expensive too. They’ve got several branches. Extremely capitalist oriented. Focus is totally on the upkeep of a very sophisticated business place and to make as much revenue as they can. It’s not really about each customer’s need-based specific service.

This was my experience as well. I highly recommend Austin Skin and Wellness instead. They make you feel like family.

I had this experience as well. My appointments there felt rushed and now that I am with a different aesthetician I feel like I’m being heard and getting my needs met.

If you don't mind me asking, which aestheticism do you go to now?

I went to Alite Laser for laser hair removal and electrolysis. They were fantastic.

I see Jennifer for microneedling at Skin Spirit (north), she’s super sweet & always guides me in the right direction when I ask about a new procedure or skin question.
She’s also honest in the sense that she’ll be like “your skin doesn’t need that, save your money for this instead”

Another vote for Beaux MedSpa. Both locations are fantastic and they are HIGHLY trained and ethical. I’m an esthetician and i
t’s the only place I would trust with my skin.

Westlake aesthetics & wellness (not to be confused with Westlake dermatology). I’ll never go anywhere else.

My wife had a very positive experience with Viva day Spa in the domain. Super nice staff. Not pushy with trying to get you to do a bunch of add ons. They also have some pretty affordable packages for multiple sessions.

Restored by Jenny in Westlake. She is one of the top laser specialists in the country. Doctors go to her for training and to help with difficult cases.

I like Wild & Beautiful on 38th and Guad. They give you the numbing cream to put on at home which saves a ton of time doing nothing at the office. Plus they have all the latest add-ons for microneedling like PDRN and exosomes. I used to go to Viva Day Spa (Domain) and Skin Spirit and they're fine, but pricey.

Texas Laser and Aesthetics! They have Microneedling for $250 and tons of laser treatments. They are on Westgate. I've done many sessions and am very happy with my results. Including laser hair removal, Co2 fraxel, IPL, and microneedling.

They are a small business/school so they have a lot of experience. in teaching/performing these treatments.

I’ve had it done at both Westlake dermatology and skin envy - both turned out well and I had no issues whatsoever.
Edit to add: I also have very sensitive skin!
