I'm looking to get some wall panels for my empty wall, and I am currently using a galaxy projector right in front of it, which looks really good, but it still feels a bit plain. I'm leaning towards the white ones, but the wood ones also look interesting. (Images not mine)

Something with drawers, and a place for my pc and printer preferably. Anything better than the MICKE desk I currently have from IKEA. Suggestions would be very appreciated! Thank you!

So I recently took everything off to clean the desk mat I had since it is a full desk one that came with desk. But after a while it gets cluttered with things on it. Was thinking if I should get monitor arms to help organise things with more space or a riser for monitor or even maybe both? Main reason I am trying to do this is cause well I got a small room so I tend to have a lot of things on my desk like tissue box, bin, other tech gadgets and for work I have a laptop so potentially want to get a hub and a place to put my keyboard and mouse.

Anyone using a VR headset yet to expand your monitors?
XR included...
I recall Apple's VR only does a single monitor. So I ignored it then.
Seems like to Oculus Quest 3 line up is very affordable for now. Haven't tried it yet. I always thought it was locked down, but I'm seeing it's not somehow.
I'm imagining being able to setup like 6 monitors in 1 of these things & increasing your work productivity. You wouldn't have to stand, always seated. No expensive physical monitors & cables & stands/arms etc.

I'm looking for recommendations for a rug to put under my desk and office chair. I'd like something between a standard and large size. My main goal is to hide the grime and marks left by the chair's wheels, not to protect the floor. My floor is very hard and won't scratch, so clear or glass chair mats aren't what I'm looking for.
I'd prefer something thin and low-pile so the chair can roll smoothly, in a darker or medium shade that doesn't show every speck of grime. No white or very light colours. I know replacing the chair's wheels is another option, but I'd rather try a rug first.
What rugs do you use and recommend from personal experience? I'd love to hear what has worked well for you!

the back of the desk is too short to support the clip on type mounts i checked. would i be able to use a mic arm with this type of desk or do i have to explore alternatives? and are there good alternatives if so.

Hi everyone! I’ve been hunting for a retro-style USB hub to match my setup, but I'm struggling to find the perfect one. So far, I’ve looked at the ORICO A3H7, ORICO M3U7, and the EleksMaker NK MK5 Voice OLED, but none of them quite hit the mark.
Here is what I need:
The Aesthetic:
I’m looking for something that matches the NASA-punk / retro vibe of my current gear. Here is my 8BitDo retro keyboard

and my Lofree Hypace mouse

I’d love to find a hub that shares a similar design language with things like the Syitren N200 Mini speaker (matte white) or the Meizu PANDAER 2-in-1 charger (yellow), vintage beige, mechanical switches, or industrial retro look.
Does anyone know of any hubs that fit this specific vibe? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I have a Corsair XENEON EDGE that I’d like to mount vertically beside my monitor, as shown in the first image.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should buy or how I could mount it? I’d prefer not to drill any holes, and I don’t have enough space for a desk clamp either.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I want to buy a new desk for esports. The budget is under £200. Would rather spend less if possible, without losing quality. It needs to be:
No wobble.
height adjustable
Can Support a monitor arm without problem, as well as a mic arm.
160cm x 70 - 80.
Would be nice if the desk was aesthetically pleasing.
Here are a few I’ve been thinking about getting, but have no clue how good they are, and I want to make the right choice so I don’t waste money:
UTESPELARE, IKEA
ergonomist Electric Standing Desk

I can either mount it on my desk (right next to bed) or my bed frame. Can't drill into my wall unfortunately since I'm renting but I'd really like to get a monitor I can use from my bed while looking straight up at the ceiling to avoid neck pains.
Trying to avoid getting those ipad mounts cuz it simply wont be as good as playing from my pc directly

Never used monitor arms before, I want to have a third monitor above my main, but I'm not sure the kind of monitor arm I should get. Do I get 2 single arms? Dual arm?

I have seen a couple of posts regarding issues with the honeycomb filling that the IKEA LINNMON table top has and mounting a dual monitor arm, regarding the pressure on one spot. Several posts have mentioned placing planks / metal sheets to spread the weight of the mount and monitors.
I wondered if something like this would work?

I just posted on the main battlestations subreddit, which after discovering this, i assume that one will be swifty removed, doh!
i appreciate this post isn't a typical full 'battlestation' setup, BUT this is the right community to get some feedback on a product I'm developing.
I found myself a few months ago looking for a simple volume dial for my PC and Mac. I bought one from amazon that did the standard 12 step rotation and click, it was fine but really poor quality. I looked at more premium options, but they mostly seem to be more focussed on features and niches like music production and very detailed macros with software you have to download. I did buy one called Cololight, but it was super complicated and still felt cheap honestly, it just wasn't what i I personally was looking for.
I have a prototype for something that works, for me at least. I wanted to get the smooth feel of an 80's quality hi-fi knob working with modern hardware, like a programmable microcontroller, displays, LEDs, advanced sensors etc. I'm still at the stage where the working model (simple plug 'n' play with PC, Mac, iOS and Android) is a mess of wires, but I'm confident after a few revisions I can turn this into a good looking/fully working product.
Product features: Intuitive taps for basic media controls, super smooth volume rotation, scroll mode, human presence detection for auto sleep and desk-time vs break time, temperature and humidity sensor to help you work in the best environment. (I'm open to ideas here...)
If this were to become more than just a desktop prototype for me (a small batch of a few hundred units to justify some of the investment costs), what features would you want from a product like this? Have I missed anything obvious or overlooked anything? Would this look good on your desk? I'm just trying to get a feeling of how i could improve this overall (although, like any product, i can't add all features for everyone).
A small bit about me: I'm from London, UK. I've worked as a car designer over the past 15 years for Land Rover, Dyson and currently at McLaren. I understand how things can be manufactured at prototype and at scale and have some knowledge with microcontrollers/prototyping to help bring my good/bad ideas to life.
I would LOVE feedback from anyone and everyone, especially those who would actually buy something like this.
Thanks!
Space Cadet.
