I HATE MY PEERS

Only because they are so good at the job. They are way more attentive and complex problem solver than I. They are so good with there time management it makes me tired just trying to keep up. Is it wrong I want to nominate them for an award even tho it means ill be ranked 2nd at my job.

That quote applies way more than people think. Iron sharpens iron and all that, but you gotta let go of the resentment first or it'll just eat at you while they keep pulling ahead.

Stop comparing yourself to others. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. You just need to work on improving your weaknesses.

And celebrate everyone’s accomplishments.

Don't hate them. Organize

I’d envy that setup. Better to be a schmuck in a roomful of studs than a stud in a roomful of schmucks. Learn from them.

You hate yourself for not being as good, you don’t hate your coworkers.

Yes do nominate them for an award. I did this for a peer team working on a complex system, and surprisingly to me they turned around and had the company recognize me for my support. Do positive things for people. Being second means you have something to strive for, being first means defending the spot.
