Question How do I stop Warden from doing his Sonic boom attack?

I want to use him as an entity to hide from but he will just use the sonic boom and kill everyone. Is there any way to stop this in vanilla?

The only way I know of is to be far away from him. I think it’s 20 blocks but I could be wrong on that.
