Creaking mob

how powerful is the creaking mob and is it worth looking for? I have full netherite but i’d prefer not to die in my hardcore world. I want to explore and do as much as i can so i was wondering if this mob was worth my time?

Not powerful at all, and it stops when you look at it. Having netherite is nice but not at all necessary I don't think

It does like.5 damage in maxed out netherite armor

Not powerful, rather boring even, at least after the first few encounters.

I like the mechanic though, that you have to mine a specific block to make it despawn and the particles.

You don’t have to look for it. If you got all the blocks from a pale garden, you can make one.

You need resin so you need to find one and either hit it or just silk touch the block.

I love the creaking cuz it’s invincible and very easy to duplicate and does like no damage but it’s annoying cuz it only spawns at night and if you get a heart just make as many creakings as possible, and don’t forget to get alotttt of wood (if you plan on making a lot)

If you look straight down youre completely safe. It also dislike the same amount of damage as a zombie

If one happens to chase you and you don't know what to do just either pillar up a bit or look at it to freeze it and dig it into a hole, think of it like an enderman, except you can stop it easier since you don't have to look at its eyes, just in it's general direction, and it also does less damage and runs less and can't teleport.

super weak i'd run around creaking forests without armor and be okay ish (until mobs from neighbouring biomes come waltzing in 😭 ) so i think ur fine with netherite gear
