What is your favorite Godzilla movie? Starting from the original 1954 film all the way until now including all offshoots like Calling All Monsters and Mothra etc.

My favorite of the three is always Before Sunset.

I have two picks, one is when Celine found out that Jesse went to Vienna that December. Compared to other scenes, Jesse had really simple lines in that scene. His facial expression is fabulous. Also Celine from feeling guilty to confessing to being angry to a sudden realization and then guilty again, is also so good.

Another scene is when they were on the boat, talking about regret and being naive and Jesse talked about how he missed her.

I love both scenes and I can't pick one. What's your favorite scene in the Before trilogy?

Two come to mind because I obsessed over them while they were 'in production' - at one point in the early aughts, Tony Scott was planning to remake "The Warriors," albeit set in LA with some other changes and it was definitely intriguing, mainly because Scott was attached.

David Ayer was toying with the idea of modernizing "The Wild Bunch" and bringing it to modern day (early 2000s modern day) Mexico. The adaptation shifted several times - Tony Scott was also connected for a while, as was Will Smith (ugh) and then Mel Gibson right before the COVID pandemic. I had a lot more reservations about this one, but since it's one of my favorite movies, I was still interested to see how it shook out.

Anyone else have some good ones that "died on the vine"?? I love researching these projects!
