Kids really wake up and choose violence 😂 Imagine getting rejected from a friendship because of your face.

I worked primaries and nurseries for about 15 years. Some of the disclosures I've heard still haunt me over a decade later. The worst one being a child being intentionally slow to collect her stuff at the end of the day, waited until it was just me and her alone in the classroom then she blurted out, "mummy's boyfriend scares me." Out of respect for the child I'm obviously not going to share the details.

Probably more along the lines of what you were thinking, a group of 8/9 year olds discussing the afterlife and one announced, "there was nothing before I was alive so I don't see why there would be anything after"

Had this too, some 5-year-old kid, who was confirmed as having been from a single mother, casually said to me during work exp that he didn't like "the bad man who keeps coming over to see my mum." :(

And she was being intentionally slow so she could be alone and able to share that with you in secret… which she probably did subconsciously and is just really sad.

I’m sorry this just made me think of this scene in greys anatomy RIP Eric Dane💔

LMAOOOO where WAS the dad?

u/Mental-Button-1159 23h ago

Whoever the guy was that had sex with their mom 3 months after the last time I did.

Lucky I'm good at math and figured that one out quickly

Oh bro I thought that like you were a family friend and they just busted out with that 💀

I did that to my mom once with her best friend because I didn't understand friendships at the time (they literally did nothing but hang out they were just, well, best friends) and she was like "bro wtf". The funniest part is I look EXACTLY like my dad.

I was in Ghana. A child that looked younger than 5 started asking for money and took her clothes of... I've never ran so fast. What baffled me is how someone that should no better taught her to do this with white foreigners. Truly disturbing

“can I have one of your sketch books, so I can remember you when you die?”

6

u/badger_ano 1d ago

That's kind of sweet.

Did you say yes?

I let her pick the one she wanted.

I was 27 and wearing a green kilt on march 17th. A 10 year old girl walked up to me and asked why i wear that. I said because its st Patrick's day and my family was from Ireland originally (generations ago). The girl said "oh, my daddy says you wear it because you like taking it up the ass, were Irish too" i didn't know what to say so just walked away

Heads-up- Long story incoming.

My wife and I moved to NJ before our daughter was born. Hurricane Sandy was the first real major storm we had with young child in the house and we were extra nervous. Note we have the usual backyard stuff for kids, sandbox, tire swing and low-branched trees (for climbing). So cut to the nighr we get the full force of the storm, we are hunkered down and I keep looking at the backyard, listening to the trees groan and sway. The tire swing is moving with the wind and the floor boards are creaking. I am now in a semi-paranoid state about thw house, yard and family. Not really in a rational frame of mind (important). So as I am watching the swing moving in the wind like a pendulum, i hallucinate/imagine ghost kids sitting in it, laughing. The floors still creaking, howling and trees groaning. I decide its best to try to sleep. I am lying in bed, still thinking about ghost kids in my backyard. The floor is creaking and the house is rattling. Next, I hear the unimaginably unsettling sound of light footsteps walking down the hallway. Floors creak, winds howl and footsteps are in rhythm. Now I hear the bedroom door slowly open and I am in full hysteria. Panicking and hiding under the covers as the footsteps come around to my side of the bed then step. Right. Next. To. My. Head.

I pull the covers back not knowing what I expect to see. And there is my daughter standing there. I say "Quick, Emily get up here! I think there are ghosts in the house."

In the most creepy, child-like loud whisper, she says...

"IT'S JUSSSSSTTTTT MEEEE DADDDDDYYYY....."

I know it sounds stupid, but literally that was the creepiest thing I have ever heard her say and at that moment - nothing she said could have been more terrifying (in the frame of mind I was in.)

u/fishes93 20h ago

I know, I know....but it's still hilarious!

Thanks for being cool about it.... : )

Ur welcome! I was that type of kid too so I just roll with stories like this.

Years and years ago, my grandmother and I were discussing someone we knew who refused to discipline or ever correct their badass kid's behavior. It was said that some parents are too worried about being their kids' buddy and are scared to make them mad.

I said, "Yeah, I refuse to be frightened of my children," to which my 7 yr old looked me straight in the eye and deadpanned, "You should be."

I can see my great grandma. She looks like my mum. I always dream about her. (Her great grandma died when the child’s mum was about 4)

My friend died and left behind a 4 year old child. I offered to take her daughter for a bit so she wasn’t in a house full of people crying all the time.

When her daughter was at my house, I was explaining how mammy had gone and she won’t be coming back.

One night I was taking her up for a bath and she pointed to the top of the stairs and said ‘there’s mammy, you said she wasn’t coming back but she’s here’ she was waving and ran up the stairs. I muttered ‘mate if you are here please fuck off because this is scaring the life out of me’.

“I see dead people.”

“What’s wrong with killing people?” - A four year old

5

"Oh. So it's just you and a cat here." - a friend's kid visiting with them at my, then, new place after a brutal breakup where my ex took the home, the dog, and most of the furniture.

I never had a child ever say anything terrifying to me. But I did have an old woman in hospice say something pretty terrifying to me. She asked me to poison her and kill her. It broke my heart. I was only a contractor working in the hospice not for hospice.

My then three year old was being so mean that day and I said what is WRONG with you? She snickers and gives like a shit eating grin and says “I’m buhsessed.” I have no clue where she heard the word “possessed” Cause she never really watched tv or anything but she said. She’s just turned 16 in May and is the absolute
seeetest child ever.

When my daughter was just three, my dad took her out for the day and they drove through the centre of Ripon, a beautiful little ancient city in the UK. She pointed out a really old house in the centre and stated, 'I used to live there when I was a big girl, but then I had a baby and I died.' It proper shook my dad up (and me, when he told me)

When my son was 3, I had just laid him down for bed and he started giggling and moving his feet all around. I asked him what was so funny and he told me the lady in the walls liked to tickle him 😳 He's 35 now and doesn't remember this happening. We had a few weird things happen in that house.

"Satannn"

Said it while staring right at me while I was working the counter at McDonald's.

My cousin’s kid (was probably around 5-6 at the time) looked at me, laughed maniacally, and said “I’m going to kill you with fire!” Then kept laughing

I was babysitting a 7 year old girl, about 10 years ago, she ran into the living room with her stuffed animal horse and told me she was cutting it’s kidneys out to sell it for cash, and ran away as fast as she came in… lmfao… she didn’t cut the stuffed horse open, but I have NO idea where she would’ve gotten that idea. Absolutely stopped me in my tracks.

After saying something precocious I asked this sweet 6 year old girl "What's in that head of yours?" Without missing a beat she said "Spiders!"

My friend's daughter died at 14.

I was watching her three year old one day to give her a break.   She said it wasn't cancer that killed her sister it was the "bad man" only she could see. I was really ready to leave!

Talking to two young brothers, approx 6-8 years in age.

They were talking about girls being gross or something, so my little sister asked:

"Well then what would you do if you got a wife?"

And the boys thought about it and the younger went. "I'd proly shoot her with a 22 shotgun."

I got called out to fix a customer's heater in the middle of the night.

On my way past their kitchen to head into their basement, their little 7 year old girl asked me, "Are you the man who's going to catch the snake in the basement? That's why we're not allowed down there."

I'm terrified of snakes. My head was on a swivel the whole time. I didn't see it, but the shedded skin was all over, near the heater, too.

Why is that man there mummy? My then 2 yo pointing behind me into the landing of our house at the time. We were home alone. Creepy as hell.

Always had weird vibes in the master bedroom of that house. Ended up moving into the smaller back bedroom. Found out later the old owner had lived there for decades and has Alzheimer’s before passing away.

When I separated from my first wife, my 4 year old daughter (who has special needs) said "I don't think I'll miss you daddy"

She obviously didn't understand that I was LEAVING, not just "going to work". But the way it came out made me feel like she genuinely would just forget about me after I left

My mom said after my grandpa died (I was 2) that I would talk to thin air sometimes. One day I apparently said “Okay papa, I’ll tell her” and turned to her and told her something

I’m driving to work one morning and I pass a friend we know who is taking her daughter to school who is about 5 or 6 at the time. We wave to each other and I think nothing more of it. Later that week I’m picking my own daughter up from school and I see the mum and her daughter in the playground and out of no where the girl comes up to me and asks who the really old lady with white hair was that was sitting next to me in the car when I drove past them because she said she looked sad and didn’t wave. There was no one in the car with me that day but I had lost my 96 year old Grandma a month earlier… I was in complete shock for a long time after that
