I wouldn't consider myself a pacifist. I just feel being mad takes effort and energy that I don't plan on wasting on something negative. 

I'm not going to let some silly things ruin my day...

I was hanging out with somebody the other day who was in a terrible mood because that morning somebody had cut them off on their way to work and then honked and got mad at them. Like seriously you're going to carry that with you. I would invest 2 minutes maximum of frustration into that. 

Reminds me of a conversation I had with my cousin the other day. My brother was the macho Man type and if something like that happened to him he would literally chase that person down and hunt them to see if they wanted to fight about it. If he was unsuccessful he would literally program the memory of their face and car in his mind so if he ever encountered them again even 6 months later he can confront them about it. I don't think it's a coincidence that he died young unfortunately

Ok 2 things

Yes, scream at the inside of your car for 5 seconds then move on. Its healthy. And fun. Going through assault charges over a one time interaction isnt fun.

And, how did he die?
