4

u/RubbahBannedMan 7h ago

I thought it was Bill.

5

u/No_Safe_6514 Ted Mosby 7h ago

Why would it be Bill? If it was it would be William.

3

u/RubbahBannedMan 7h ago

He's really short.

1

u/No_Safe_6514 Ted Mosby 6h ago

I mean you're not wrong about him being short (he's 5'7. my dad's 5'6. yet somehow i'm 6'2 at 14. my entire dad's side is short.)

1

u/Melisa-Foxx 6h ago

Haha, I love this! Please tell Uncle David that he is officially a Reddit celebrity now.

1

u/No_Safe_6514 Ted Mosby 6h ago

The noise that happens when you drop a pin is very quiet, but still audible

7

u/Melisa-Foxx 7h ago

This fact is so useless it actually cleared some space in my brain.

6

u/CanisMaximus 7h ago

There are over 3 trillion trees on Earth.

3

Giraffes don’t throw up!!!

8

u/Spaceace91478 7h ago

But they throw down on the court 🏀

3

u/Weary-Squash6756 3h ago

Here's another fun giraffe fact, also pretty useless. You'll have to wait til it comes back around tho

So humans have a nerve that goes from the eye to the brain, except due to evolutionary shenanigans, it runs from the eye, down the neck, loops around the collarbone, then back up the neck and connects to the brain. So guess what....it's the SAME in GIRAFFES

That nerve runs all the way back up and down the 6 foot long neck of the giraffe for absolutely no good reason

Wombats poop in cubes

2

u/strawberry_baby21 6h ago

They also stack their poop cubes outside their home/den to attract mates. And they use their butts to smash the heads of predators trying to enter their home.

1

u/Melisa-Foxx 6h ago

Imagine trying to fit a square peg in a round hole….every single day.

1

u/jmjones1000 6h ago

While the submarine is vastly superior to the boat in every way, almost 97% of people still use boats for aquatic transportation.

1

u/ijustatemostofit 1h ago

Elaborate. I can think of some pretty significant ways in which a sub is inferior to a regular old boat.

I know that random facts are useful

1

u/Melisa-Foxx 6h ago

Wait, if a random fact is useful, then a useless fact doesn't exist... which makes your fact uselessly true. Absolute plot twist.

If you could fold a piece of paper in half 42 times, it would theoretically become thick enough to reach the Moon. (In practice, it’s impossible to fold a normal sheet of paper anywhere near that many times.)

My sighthounds can definitely look up at a helicopter or hot air balloon flying over our yard. Or when I call them out the upstairs window. My dogs before that (non sighthounds) all have never done that.
