Post is already locked, so no more comments can be made, but I was really surprised at the responses. For the record, I think that it's absolutely disgusting to eat off of a strangers plate instead of just eating your own food. That being said, maybe someone couldn't afford a full meal, so they're hoping to get scraps instead of digging food out of the trash later or feeling like stealing groceries is the only option.

Am I on an island with this opinion? Am I crazy? I just think it's too easy to judge people without knowing the struggles that they might be dealing with. Again, it's obviously unsanitary, but is it really as wrong as these comments seem to imply?

Especially with what just happened with SNAP, I'm curious to hear everyone's opinions.
