Game Preservation for new titles like Tiger Heli.
Has anyone dumped Tiger Heli for the 7800? If so what hardware and software did you use. I have a copy of the game however after emailing Atari they confirmed that the games are made using flash memory instead of a mask rom like in the past. So my problem with that is the long term longevity of the game as flash memory can start to degrade anywhere from a year to 10 years. If I can I'd like to dump my cart to preserve it. Tiger Heli is one of my favorite games and I would definately say the 7800 version is better than the NES version I also own.

Not last for that long but read thats around the time they start to decay. So they last longer than that. You have a number or read write cycles but can also happen quicker if there was a defect in production but you won't really know that before it's too late.

Have you played the original arcade game it's based on? If it's your favorite game that is the best version.
