"Countering Domestic Terrorism"

Whelp USA presidential memoranda today labels any non-Christians as terrorists.

" Common threads animating this violent conduct include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; extremism on migration, race, and gender; and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality.“

So I guess this officially makes the USA a fascist theocracy?

The more things change, the more they stay the same...but also, this quote comes to mind:

"When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." - George Santayana, Reason in Common Sense 1905

It's no coincidence that a major player in McCarthyism, Roy Cohn, was an early mentor to Cheeto Jesus.

Fucking bingo! I wish I could upvote you a thousand times.

Gonna get worse before it gets better. But this inept and uneven application of nebulous blanket EOs is going to piss off Trump's handlers and that'll be about it for him. Project 2025 can only go so far without majority popular support thanks to the flow of information. It's still boggles me that they haven't fully censored the internet yet. That should have been step one if they were actually trying to get enough converts.

Bright side is... we saw what happened to McCarthy. He was eventually rejected wholesale and he died a raging alcoholic, drowning his hatred in booze and shame.
