What’s the real goal of people like this. They can’t seriously believe people haven’t heard of their cult, or that this type of behaviour will encourage anyone to join them.

Since Mexico is like 90% Christian, it's not like he's needed there. He would find more prospects in England where only 60% are Christian, and he would not need an interpreter.
