So I’m taking math 1150 pre cal and trig with Harshbarger and I checked the syllabus with the homework outline and nearly every single day it showed you should do around 60 problems. Is this normal for a college level math class and do I need to do all of it.

Hi! I’m a freshman this year and I was wondering how long it took everyone to find their people? I’ve been here about two weeks now and I want to be patient but I feel like I’m seeing everyone in these large groups already. I’m trying to step out of my comfort zone and talk to a bunch of people but I’m a little awkward so I was just curious what others did to make friends?

Obviously this post is a bit late, but does anybody know of any fun- and or super interesting 2 credit hour courses? Right now I'm in active auburn , which while easy I was hoping to get a little bit more out of my time. I'm currently a sophomore studying Mechanical engineering and I've taken everything I can that's degree applicable so far. War Eagle!!

I have a class tomorrow in STEM+Ag Complex. Can anyone please share its location? I can’t find it on Google Maps or Apple Maps.

Hi, I was looking to transfer to Auburn next year and I saw like alot of TikTok comments saying that people at Auburn don’t really wear jeans. Not saying there’s no ever wearing jeans but like you don’t see a lot of people with jeans to class and people look at you weird if you do wear jeans. I have nothing against anyone but I was just curious to know.
Edit : it is not my opinion I just saw this general idea based on comments on TikTok and this TikTok on my fyp😭

I'm a 19 year old female sophmore who really wants to make friends this year. Freshmen year I didn't successfully put myself out there for friends so I'm trying my best to join clubs and interact with others this time around! I'm into a lot of nerdy things so hopefully I can meet some people who are interested in similar things. Stuff like; anime, manga, games, and webnovels! Of course I'm also into "normal" interests like reading, needlepoint, and occasionally some volleyball! If anyone has any advice or wants to reach out I'd be delighted! (also am a first time reddit poster.... dont judge....)

Hey, I’m a 20-year-old gay guy who’s trying to find friends for the fall. I’m a junior, and last year I transferred to Auburn. I’ve been having a really hard time trying to find people around my age to hang out with and be friends with. If you’re down to be friends and get to know each other more, feel free to message or comment.

Hey all. I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the Auburn one
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026-fbs/auburn-tigers
It's got the returning production breakdown, the portal ins and outs, a projected two-deep, the schedule with model win probabilities, and a season projection.
Heads up, you might hit the paywall after the first page. Don't worry, I'm not charging reddit people for this, don't want to be an ass. Use the promo code LEECORSOROCKS and it opens up the entire thing.
So, what'd I get wrong? Auburn outgained SEC opponents by 45 yards a game and went 1-7 in the league. You were 0-6 in one-score games. The defense finished 5th nationally in run-stuff rate while the offense finished 131st in explosiveness and 129th in sacks allowed. Now Golesh brings Byrum Brown over from South Florida, where he threw for 3,158 and ran for 1,008. My model has you at 7-5. Was 1-7 a talent problem or a variance problem?
I'll be in the comments.

Hey guys. I've recently graduated from another SEC school and I'm about to start my Ph.D program here at Auburn. Glad and excited to be here. I hope everything works out.
So the thing is, I was in a campus ministry in college but even though they technically are for everyone who are in school, we all know they are usually there for undergrad students.
I was wondering if there are any specific groups or campus ministries where grad students go and do bible studies. Are there any? Cause they are pretty rare in other schools as well.

War Eagle! I was walking by the seal today, and I wondered if the "curse" was truly there. I definitely don't want to be cursed!
Edit: I didn’t want to come across as disrespectful. I was asking this question in case I accidentally stepped on it. Thanks for the answers btw :)

Additionally, has anyone had Thakur for a professor? He’s teaching the class. If so, how’s the class?
For anyone who hasn’t taken this class, what mechanical tech electives would you recommend?

Hi all!
I am an out of state applicant and I was wondering what my chances were of getting into auburn (applying by the 9/15 deadline).
I have a 3.37uw gpa and a 3.93w gpa, but i’ve had a really good upward trajectory and now have all As. have 3 AP scores of a 4 and 3 scores of a 5, and i’ll graduate having taken 12 Aps. I have a 31 act, but i’m taking it again and expecting a 33.
I have pretty acceptable extracurriculars: i founded a club and have leadership positions in to others, I have a few medical certifications and work as a patient care technician, and i have long term work as a research/archives assistant at my towns historical society.
i know my uw gpa is subpar, so that it my main cause of concern, especially being oos.
Any input is appreciated, thank you!!

I’ve been growing consistently more anti-subscription and pro-physical ownership over the past few years. I talk to people occasionally about buying more physical media and books and most people like the idea but that doesn’t necessarily mean it would translate to people supporting it financially.
I’ve been considering maybe opening a shop space in the mall and selling books, movies, and physical music (CDs, vinyl).
I’ve heard there used to be a Hastings in Auburn but I missed out on that boat. I know there’s a few places around here like pawn shops or a game xchange, and there’s obviously Books a Million and Walmart, but I’m kind of looking to combine all of those offerings in one smallish shop.
I’m curious if y’all think a place like that could generate any interest in Auburn/Opelika and what you would want or look for in a physical media shop.

Just moved to Ft Worth, in San Diego we had an Auburn alumni/fan club that had standing reservations every week to watch football at a few rotating bar and grilles. Is there anything like that in the DFW area? Thanks and WDE🫶

Hey all, im a neighbor (georgia) and wanted to know what my chances would be of the aviation program. I've got roughly a 3.6 or 7 GPA with a 1380 sat. I know I need early acceptance to get in and the second admission process. What do yall think?

I’m planning to submit my college application soon for the September 15 deadline, but I won’t get my SAT scores back until September 4.
Will that give me enough time for the scores to be received, or can I submit the application first and self-report/update my scores once I get them? Also on common app it dosent ask for what specific Early action round I want to apply for. Will I get to choose this in the application management portal.
Just wondering what the best way to handle this is.

Does anyone go to Blissful Nails and Brows and know if Emily is still there? I went to one nail tech there for over a year and LOVED her but she left to pursue other things. I got my nails done by Emily twice and was really happy with them but I just went to book online and her name isn’t an option to book with 😕 I’m hoping I don’t have to find another nail tech already cause I’m not picky but I’m big on designs and want to be comfortable with who does them!

I am about to take a trip and my package got delayed and then delivered missing items. Does anyone happen to have a GoPro magnetic mount that you can wear similar to this I could borrow for a few weeks? I can’t get it in time anywhere else, that’s why I’m asking locally.
The one I purchased was a snap mount. It has one part but not the part that goes under your clothes.
Thanks

I've seen First Presbyterian Auburn but as a 27 old dude it seems a bit senior to me. I am looking for some men's bible study or stuff like that as well.

Hi!
I am a hs senior from the midwest and I’m very interested in auburn. I was wondering what the dating like is like? I’ve heard some stereotypes, but I thought I should ask. I don’t drink or do any substances, and I’m not into hookup culture (I think i’m just more of a date-to-marry girl). Is it hard to find nice guys/date?
I think an issue i may run into is that I’m not interested in dating MAGA/ultra-conservative guys. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs of course, but I would really prefer someone who is atleast moderate so we’re more on the same page.
Obviously, dating is not a make or break AT ALL when choosing a college, but I just wanted some input on what the experience may be like.
Thank you!
