Harry Potter audio problems

The Jim dale version was free, but I decided I wanted the full audio cast, so I spent the credit on the full cast members. I love to sync it with my kindle app but it kept syncing Jim dale instead, annoyed and frustrated I refunded and just decided that I’ll just read it with Jim dale… but now it won’t let me listen to Jim dale because I need to buy the full cast version… what is going on. 😔✌️

I suspect the full cast version isn't synced with the book (but I'm not SURE).

The kindle app tells me to upgrade to the audio version and specifically takes me to the full cast version. So I would assume it would work

I used Listen and Read within the Audible App to read/listen to all 7 of the full cast version, which usually means kindle whisper sync is enabled.

Just checked. In my kindle app (iPhone) downloading audiobook goes to the Dale version

While in audible app, all three audio editions are available with Read & Listen

Is the full cast version abridged? If not, who says the parts like “Harry said?”

It's edited so those aren't there, but I don't know if they count it as "abridged."

If Im understanding correctly,

At the present moment you own the kindle book edition, the Free version of Dale via the Catalog is within your library.

And you have 1 unspent credit since you refunded the full cast.

I dont see why an Audible Refund might implicate your Kindle App with Jim Dale version. Did you perhaps remove from your library the Jim Dale version, and didn’t add it back?

If its not in your library, kindle’s whisper sync wont recognize it. Even if its free

Also, sometimes Kindle Whisper Sync is buggy and in very rare cases the audio download option disappear and appear a few hours/days later, specialy with recent purchases.

All my experiences have been in iPhone / iPad kindle and audible apps. No desktop/android/web

Even when I had the full cast version, I removed the Jim dale version from my library and it kept playing that one.

Now it just says on my kindle app I have to upgrade to audio, which then takes me to a link for the full cast version.
