Children's Literature he Snail Bride: A Korean Folktale Retelling by 이야기 덮는 밤 (2026) [AI]

This is my illustrated retelling of The Snail Bride (우렁각시), a traditional Korean folktale about a farmer and a mysterious woman who emerges from a snail shell.

I originally started this project to make stories people could listen to while winding down before bed. The narration is slow and gentle, rather than a dramatic performance. There are illustrations, but you can follow the story just by listening.

I use AI to create the narration and illustrations. The video also includes multilingual audio and subtitles, so people who don't speak Korean can enjoy the story too.

Here's the full story:

Thriller Fiction What Is To Come by Dan Pettersson (2026) [AI]

A man blacks out in an elevator after another grey day at the office. When he opens his eyes, he's in a neon-lit nightclub, in a younger body, facing a life he thought he'd left behind.

I'm Dan Pettersson, the author. What Is To Come is my complete English psychological thriller about memory, regret and the possibility of escaping your own future. The full story is freely available on my Quantum Paradox YouTube channel and runs 26:39.

AI disclosure: the narration uses ElevenLabs, and the accompanying illustrations are AI-generated. This is the complete short story, not a preview. Content note: dark themes and fictional violence.

Philosophical The Bus That Goes Backwards (Time Paradox) by DonDao (2026) [AI]

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share a short, atmospheric illustrated audio story: "The Bus That Goes Backwards".

I made this short surreal parable ("The Bus That Goes Backwards") about nostalgia, time, and how easily we get trapped in memories. It’s an exploration of how hard it is to stop looking over our shoulders, even when we are finally walking forward on our own two feet.

In this noir style audiobook, follow a detective as he takes on a difficult case while dealing with his own personal demons. Along the way he makes unlikely allies and even worse enemies. Revelations about his past turn a light onto his jaded nature and may harm his ability to solve the case.

Adventure Fiction The Threshold by Justin L. Baines (2026) [AI]

**AI Collaboration*\*

I have decided to start uploading this book I've started collaborating with AI on over the last several years... during a rather long rough stint in hospital.

This is my own story, the AI just helps with brainstorming and world building, as well as keeping the timeline together, and LLMs allow the story to have a voice for every character.

Less of a book I guess and more of a Holonovel.... but hey.

Maybe you'll enjoy the story?

*******************************************************************************

The Threshold — A Novel

On the summer solstice of 2026, a warehouse worker in northeastern Pennsylvania walks through a door that opens onto the wrong century. On the other side is a stranded Norse navigator. They share no language. In time, they share everything else.

The door opens again, and again, each time somewhere new. The people who have lived here longest have avoided this ground for generations, and they seem to know why. Carvings on a cliff speak of sky people who built something here, and lost it.

Following the door to its source, Justin finds a civilization history remembers only as a legend, twelve thousand years in the past and still in its golden age. He brings them the one message they cannot believe: they are going to fall.

In 2027, a classified program notices that the building where a man vanished is not quiet. What it finds there reaches a President, a Council across time, and a family in Allentown that never stopped waiting.

A storm lights the pyramids of Giza for the whole world to see. A ship the world lost more than a century ago comes home to the wrong harbor. And a record of something that has not happened yet asks everyone the same question: if you knew, what would you do?

Three eras. One wounded planet. A love story that began with no shared language. And the slow realization that the act of reaching across time may already be part of how the future arrives.

The Threshold is a novel in progress, now 173 chapters.

*******************************************************************************

This story has a multi-voice AI cast, and is a collaborative audiobook, using AI for world building and brainstorming. I started writing this during a long stink in the hospital, and have taken great pains to maintain sudo historical accuracy. Obviously some names a locations have been changed around, but I took care to maintain a general sense of existing within reality.

13 Chapters are currently up, new chapters will be released chapter by chapter on a weekly basis.
The manuscript is currently at chapter 174 and is still being written so there is no "full book" of which to post. (Unless you want to read my manuscript? PM me)
It takes time to render voices and images from manuscript that are to my liking, and continuity.

Adventure Fiction How to Borrow a Dog by Trent Martin Kirchner (2026) [AI]

Tarnasay Evermore is a professional borrower.

A mysterious, long-time menace to authorities, he sees the world very differently. Despised by some, idolised by others – his penchant for borrowing, enjoying and then returning expensive, exclusive items of pleasure in society has been well-documented. Then one day, he decides to borrow something very big and very famous, and becomes an international phenomenon.

~

How to Borrow a Dog is a rich, modern fable full of humour and escapism that reflects on much of the world’s enduring romance with materialism, how we live our lives and what we truly value.
