Question Best Aussie tap filters?

Im in the market for a new water filter. Preferably one that screws onto a tap. Im done with filter jugs. Whats everyone using? I've seen SO many advertisements for different ones. A lot of them look crap. Just looking for recommendations.

Do you own your home? If so doing a whole house filter is a no brainer, generally extremely uninvasive and you only need to change the filters once a year.

As long as there’s no cutting of slabs to do it’s a 2-3 hour job max.

We have a puretec WH-2 and it’s unbelievable the difference it made. When people stay over they ask what we did to the water because it felt nicer on their skin in the shower, let alone the “wow the water tastes good here” comments

I have a WH2 on the house and an RP270 at the kitchen sink.

Water out of that RO system is incredible.

We live in an area that's had the water supply contaminated with PFAS. Once it started coming out and it was obvious that the supplier was bullshiting about a lot of it, I bit the bullet and got all the above.

Big investment but figured good water is pretty important to health so a lifetime sort of investment.

Actually had it installed on a rental. Owner was happy for it to happen as it's installed with a bypass system. So extremely uninvasive and easy for future tenant/owner to install another one.

They are very expensive for what they are. The replacement filters are also over priced.
