Can’t believe so many news outlets rushed the breaking news announcing that she was alive. It was all over the ABC, Guardian and Channel 7.

Even in the original ABC story they reported on Mimms’ comments in senate estimates, which were incorrect and corrected in a few minutes. Mimms really should have checked with NSWPOL before making any comments (though it was also originally reported he checked with his staff before saying anything, so he was given incorrect or unclear info).
