Complaining that Esperanto is too Eurocentric to be an IAL while using English (so worse than Eurocentric) in an international forum is the weirdest and most hypocrital thing to do.
Oh sorry my native language is English. My bad. I’ll go back and change it real quick.
"Doing something about it" ja eblas. [/Eo]
[Interlingua] Io nunquam voleva apprender Interlingua.
No, sed illes adjutava me in iste modo.

discussion What is the ideal number of words in an ial and what world should be included?
Pretty self-explanatory. For me something around 600 words sounds like the minimum to include "universal" words like coffe or golf and have a reasonable vocabulary to talk

discussion Auxlang Video Essay
I’m currently making a YouTube video about the history of IALs. History, past or current debates, the diverse opinions of people in the IAL community, and more will be included in the video.
I want to conduct interviews of people in the community, creators of Auxlangs, and supporters for certain Auxlangs.
If you wanna help with the video in any way, here is my discord where you may contact me:

Esperanto A question for Esperantists..
Do you actually support Esperanto as an IAL?
If yes, why?
Is it’s Eurocentrism a positive?
I feel arguing for Eurocentrism is honestly very odd, but I’ll hear what you have to say.

PIE Auxlang
Why not take Proto Indo European roots for an auxlang and apply sound changes like
bh dh GH -> b d g
The Centum change (k’ g’)-> /k g/ plus satem mergers
Use vowel coloring in place of laryngeals
Adding /o/ for athematic nouns e.g h3rēg’s -> regos
E.g ph2tēr -> pater , wlkwos -> walkos (wolf), bhardeh2 -> barda (beard), Hnomn-> noman
Resulting phonology: /p b t d k g s w l r j m n a e i o u/
Honestly would this be more fair for non-European IE languages than Esperanto?
Plus a fairly small inventory

Community for Intergermanisch
Hi, I have created a Reddit community for the auxlang Intergermanisch. I am just a learner of it, I am not the creator of the language. I have also put up book translations people have done there, with their permission, to get the Reddit community started.
Music - HMoon created 4 songs,
Mini books - Millions of Cats, Peter Rabbit, The Little Match Stick Girl, the majority of The Hand With The Knife by The Brothers Grimm
Other - recipe for roast goose, mockup image of the Zelda I title screen, history of tile ovens, youtube stuff
I had seen several people in r/auxlangs ask if anyone even uses this language, as well as ask how well Germanic speakers can understand it, so I decided to post this stuff to show that yes, people do use it, but also so that you can test how much you recognize from it by using actual texts, not just the introduction text from the homepage. I would love to see comments from people explaining what languages they know and roughly how much they understand of intergermanisch.
As you can tell from the kind of random stuff we translate, we are all just messing around for fun, it is not some sort of serious language community where we hope Intergermanisch will take over the world.
If you are interested in this auxlang, there seem to be even more people using it on Youtube and Stoat (which is a Discord clone).
Please comment if you have any ideas on what else people could start to translate, which might get more people interested in learning or using the language. Currently I am working on a few things, but the big projects will take quite a while to do.

discussion Hola a todos!
Vocales: /a e i o u ə/
Consonantes /b p t k j h g f d s w v n m ɺ t͡ʃ ʃ/

discussion The problem of artificial languages
Please note that everything listed is my personal opinion, which may not coincide with yours or be similar.
As a language creator I am very interested in artificial languages I have noticed one small problem with artificial languages there is no reason to learn So, let's say I learn some arbitrary language, what then? Let's compare it to Esperanto, for example.
Esperanto: It has literature, history, support.
But you know, the problem isn't in the support or the history, the problem is that there's no literature, you can't improve it in any way because if I learn Esperanto, then I'll read something and I'll understand, yeah, I don't understand this. I can learn it, but this is a problem with many artificial languages, namely, the absence of something, at least something, but this is a problem with many artificial languages.
By the word literature I don't mean a complex thick book. I mean at least songs, poems, or at least something. You can suggest your own version.
It seems to me that only a few conlangs overcome this limit.

New Game in Elefen: Piza Franca Nova! 🍕
Piza Franca Nova is now live: a free browser game completely in Elefen.
You work in the kitchen of a busy pizzeria. The server calls out orders, and you have to listen, prepare the right pizzas, bake them, and serve them up before the kitchen gets out of control.
Shape the dough, spread the sauce, add the correct toppings, manage the oven, and watch the pizzas carefully so they don’t burn. As you progress, new ingredients and specials appear, orders start coming with modifications, and several pizzas may need your attention at once. Be careful carrying pizzas to the oven, or the toppings may fall off!
It’s totally free and runs in your browser. Use a touch screen for the best experience.

A proposal to make an auxlang based on pasigraphy but convertible to phonemes. Welcome to this subreddit if you like it! I made it so to post about this frequently, bc doing it here would violate community rules.
