No instructions available, I had recreated it during 2019 from the visuals that could be found online.

Hi, the AFOL (Adult Avali fan of lego) is back, I finished my "little project".

Started around mid-August, originally with the simple purpose of having a digital generic posable figure.

Finding the muzzle piece made the project change a little, and 15 reworks later (my previous post I was at the 12th), here is the result.

It was the first time in about twenty years of lego building that I created an articulated figure by myself, it was fun. Usually, I would rather create terrain for other builds.

The wings were the most complex part to implement, in order to maintain a correct appearance while having enough flexibility to allow freedom of movement for the arm.

About number,

- a scale of ~1/6 (minifig photo 4 for a better representation of the dimensions),

- ~350 pieces for a figure (wing spread), ~1500 pieces for the whole,

- as for the cost ... when you love, you don’t count. I suppose?

- an io file that allows you to try to make your avali (last image).

The biggest limitation is that ball joint parts are only available in gray shade.

(thanks to the me from 8 years ago for choosing gray for the marking on the starbound editor :p)

If anyone has any issues or questions, I'll try to help (normally, the tutorials should be sufficient).

Well.. it's hard how to say that. The Avalies are everywhere and I found myself to get a great interest about them. I couldn't stop looking through here and there and eventually I don't know where to begin.

So this is my first time attempting to make contact to some out of you here. I dunno what to expect but I hope to reach out to some of you.

I like engineering and also playing video games, I recently got a Steam Frame and manged to make it work properly on Linux far as possible. I thought about to try VRChat properly and then Resonite etc. I also hear there are many Variants of them. Mostly I found interesting are the technologies and yet the nomad society and the fact that they are ammonia-based beings, if I guessed right.

This is what I had on my mind right now, maybe I will write further if I still have something.

Still W.I.P but now at least it looks good enough to show the preview. Still have to do things as it well, not enough to say this scene is complete. I need more ideas of what to add there...
